A Expressway linking to North Project between Tarlac and Cabanatuan

The Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar declared that the new toll-free expressway from Tarlac City will be open to monitoring the public up to Aliaga, Nueva Ecija by May 15, 2021.

The ongoing four (4) lanes 30 kilometer CLLEX Phase 1 will cut travel time between Tarlac City and Cababatuan City from 70 minutes to 20 minutes, a project cost of P12.6112 Billion Pesos.

The expressway project is part of the administration’s deliberate focus under Build, Build, Build program on developing the provinces through connective infrastructure that will not only cut down travel time but also help farmers from Philippines’ rice granary of Nueva Ecija in delivering their crops to markets of Central Luzon and Metro Manila.
