Assalam o alaikum! I hope that all of you will be fine and enjoying your life. Today I am going to discuss about the research story of " Wendy Suzuki" who is a neuroscientist. I will discuss how she change the research project from hippocampus toward topic brain changing effect of exercise.

Wendy Suzuki was doing research on how long term memory can be stored in hippocampus since childhood ? Hippocampus is a part of brain which is present in between right and left temporary lobe. Here is a view of different parts of brain along with hippocampus.

Wendy Suzuki totally switch to laboratory for research. After working for months and even for a year or two. His research grand was going on the top but when he left the research laboratory she noticed that she has no social life. Means she felt weak or poor social memory which she had learnt since childhood. She doesn't know what is his city. She felt very weak as compared to other. She had also gained a weight of 20 pound.

Changing of research plan from hippocampus to brain changing effects of exercise

She went to gym for losing weight after doing exercise. She felt very good because her memory, attention and focus are increasing day by day. She had made a habit to go gym on regular basis. She felt very positive effect on his mind after doing exercise. One day she was sitting in a laboratory writing research grant and ask herself research grant is too easy. All the scientist around her were laughing that writing a research grant is always a tough ask because you have to create new ideas. Wendy Suzuki was feeling good because of exercise her focus , attention and creativity was perfect. After having such a beautiful effects Wendy Suzuki changes her research plan . Now she wanted to do research on brain changing effects of exercise. She wanted to do research how exercise can increase long term memory, attention and creativity.

After doing research on this new plan whenever we do exercise. Different neurons send the message to brain which make the different cells in the hippocampus and then increases the number of memory cell in the hippocampus due to this volume of hippocampus increases. With increase of volume of hippocampus the long term memory of a brain increases.

Our conclusion is that we must do exercise on daily basis up to 30 minutes. The exercise will increases our proper functioning of a brain.
