This afternoon I want to write an article about education, namely "Understanding the Archipelago Insight and Its Important Role".

Archipelago insight is a guide or motivation in determining policies, decisions, and actions for state administration.

Aims to realize nationalism in all aspects of community life, where the people prioritize group interests over personal interests.

Definition of insight into the archipelago:

The Indonesian people's perspective on themselves and their environment based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution is the understanding of the archipelago perspective.

Insight comes from the Javanese language, wawas means view or review. Meanwhile, nusantara comes from the words nusa and between, meaning the unity of the islands located between the continents of Asia and Australia, as well as the Indian and Pacific Oceans.

Simply put, insight into the archipelago is the way the Indonesian people perceive themselves and their environment. In essence, the archipelago insight is the embodiment of the archipelago as a unit.

The important role of insight into the archipelago:

According to Sri Widayati in the book Insights of the Archipelago (2020), the important role of insight into the archipelago is to guide the Indonesian people in the implementation of their lives.

Archipelago insights also serve as signs or guidelines in the struggle for independence.

In the context of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), the important role of insight into the archipelago is as a form of unity and unified perception for the Indonesian nation. According to Musdalifah Qadariah, by having the same perception, it is hoped that this can bring the Indonesian nation to achieve its national goals.

Here are some important roles of archipelago insight in social life:

1. Realizing and maintaining harmonious and stable unity and integrity.

2. Cultivate a sense of responsibility in the use of the environment.

3. Upholding power to protect national interests.
