The most important pillar of Islam is prayer. It has been narrated in Hadith Sharif-

On the Day of Resurrection, the first account of the servant will be taken through prayer. -Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 1894; Sunan Abu Dawood, Hadith 7

The famous saying of Hazrat Umar-

Surely the most important thing for me is prayer. The one who guards the prayer, performs it with care, guards his religion. And whoever neglects it, he will neglect it more than anything else. -Muatta Malek, Description 6; Musannafe Abdur Razzaq, Narration 2036

Salat is basically a great blessing given by God. A special gift from the Almighty, which frees the servant from all kinds of obscenities, wickedness, instinctual worship, and the blind fascination of fleeting pleasures, and makes him the possessor of a pious and advanced ideal life. Develops all the benevolence inside him. It opens the wide gates of eternal paradise for him.

Salat is a miraculous system of training. It is through Salat that the great virtues of sincerity, self-purification and self-abnegation are fully developed, which brings the servant to the golden peak of nearness to Allah.

The prayer is so full of a controlling force that even a pure worshiper cannot do anything outside of the prayer that undermines the dignity of the prayer in the eyes of the people. From the invisible, the salat basically controls all his movements day and night. If the worshiper ever wants to engage in some unjust or indecent act under the guise of Satan, then the conscience baptized in the training of prayer says to him, You tell me, after a while when you stand before your great Lord in prayer, will you not be ashamed to think what a black face and filthy heart Are you standing in front of your boss? One who is intimate, fully aware of all your secrets and disclosures. You have no god but He. Who is your only refuge, before whom you must stand again and again. To whom all your desires are obtained. Whose face you are in every moment. Will you disobey Him even after knowing these things? Salat thus advises the worshiper and prevents him from engaging in wickedness. Allah's declaration-

Surely the prayer forbids indecency and indecency. -Surah Ankabut (29): 45

According to the majority of commentators including Imam Tabari, Ibn Kathir, Qurtubi, Alusi, the meaning of the verse is that Salat is the sum of many deeds including Takbeer, Tasbeeh, Qiraat, Qiyam before Allah and Ruku-Sijdah. For this reason, the prayer should say to the worshiper, do not do any obscene or unjust act. Do not disobey the Lord who is the rightful owner of the acts of worship you perform. How can you disobey him now, when you have done something that shows his greatness and greatness? Even then, if you disobey him, you are engaged in self-contradictory work. (And you know very well the level at which a person comes down through self-contradictory work.) -Ruhul Maani, 10/462

Every time in the prayer, in every rak'ah, he says Bandah:

[(You) are the owner of the day of karma.] And he began to remember, he will have to stand in front of the owner on the day of karma. So we have to live from his disobedience, from his dissatisfaction. If a sin is committed before the prayer, then the sin is remembered and shame is felt; The servant repents and decides not to sin in the future. Similarly, if there is an intention to commit a sin, then the servant thinks, I am standing before Allah; Tomorrow will be the day of resurrection. So how can I think of committing such a sin after prayer! In this way, prayer keeps the servant away from sins and purifies him from the sins he has committed.

In the same way, the child that we read at the beginning of the prayer-

There is another dua to be recited here, in which the servant prays tawfiq to stay away from sins-

(O Allah, create such a distance between me and sin as the distance between East and West.)

So when the servant says this while standing in prayer, he subconsciously tries to stay away from sin and Allah accepts his prayer and gives him the tawfiq to refrain from sin. Thus prayer prevents the servant from sinning.

At the end of the day we recite Dua Qunoot in Vitra Namaz. There are many sentences in that dua so that the servant remembers his sins, seeks forgiveness, and decides not to sin. As the servant stands before Allah at the beginning of the prayer and says-

(O Allah! We seek Your help. We ask Your forgiveness.)

At the end of the day, when the servant stands in front of Gafurur Rahim and asks for forgiveness, all the sins of the servant are remembered throughout the day. With the determination not to sin in the future. Because, the main condition for the forgiveness of sins committed is the determination not to commit this sin in the future.

At one point the servant says-

(We express our gratitude to you; do not be ungrateful.)

What could be greater ungratefulness than disobedience to the Lord!

Salat does not only deter the servant from disobeying the Lord; Rather, it keeps away from disobedience. Dua Kunute Banda says-

(Whoever disobeys you, we forsake him.)

Finally, the servant expresses his determination to avoid all kinds of sins.

(We fear your punishment.)

This determination helps the servant to stay away from sin throughout the day. Urges to repent from the sins committed. In this way, asking for forgiveness from sins, the determination to separate oneself from sinners, and the remembrance of God's punishment keep the servant from all kinds of injustice and obscenity.

At the end of the day, it was about remembering the sins of the servant and praying for forgiveness; Besides, at the end of every prayer, the servant says-

O Allah! I have wronged myself a lot (through your disobedience). And there is no one who forgives sins except You. Forgive me and have mercy on me. Surely Thou art the Forgiving, the Merciful.

Can a person who stands in front of the Lord and repeatedly confesses that he has wronged himself and keeps it in his heart, reverse this confession outside the prayer? Rabbi Karim, Gafurur Rahim can disobey?

In this way the prayer restrains the servant from all iniquities.

Most importantly, standing in front of the great Lord five times a day is enough to keep the servant from sinning. As soon as he stands before Allah at various moments of the day and night and remembers his sins, he becomes ashamed and repents. Because he is standing in front of ‘Alimul Ghaibi Wash Shahadati’, who knows everything openly and secretly. He is standing in front of ‘Alimum Biya-Tis Sudur’, who also knows the determination of the heart.

Just as by this the path of survival from sin is attained, so is the tawfiq of determination, so also sin is forgiven. It has been narrated in Hadith Sharif-

The five obligatory prayers removes the sins in between. -Sahih Muslim, Hadith 231

Hazrat Abu Huraira. Narrated from, he said, a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and complained that such a person prays at night and steals during the day. The Prophet said:

What you say (ie his prayer) will soon deter him (from this injustice). -Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 96; Sahih Ibn Hibban, Hadith 2560

One person used to pray for a long time. When Ibn Mas'ud was told about it, he said, "The prayer is fruitful for him who obeys it." Then he recited the verse:

Surely prayer forbids indecency and wrongdoing. [Surah Ankabut (29): 45] -Musannafe Ibn Abi Shaybah, Hadith 35698; Tafsir Tabari, 18/406; Tafsir Ibn Abi Hatim, 9/308

The incident is also clear from the incident of Hazrat Shuaib A. The prayer forbids injustice. God's prophet Hazrat Shuaib A. When he called his people to Tauhid and called them to live a pious life by abstaining from all kinds of iniquities, including giving less in size, his disobedient community objected to him.

Does your 'salat' instruct you to forsake the deities of our forefathers or to refrain from doing whatever you want with our wealth? You are a very intelligent and pious man! [Surah Hood (11): 6]

Hazrat Sufyan rah in the interpretation of this verse. He said: I swear by Allah that Salat enjoins (good deeds) and forbids (evil deeds). -Tafsir Tabari 18/409

When does prayer keep you from doing wrong?

In a real sense, Salat prevents the worshiper from doing wrong and indecent deeds. But when? Is there any condition to get the final result of this declaration? In this case, the worshiper has something to do and what to avoid? This is of course a fair and reasonable question. The answer to this question can be found in many verses and hadiths. Only one verse and one hadith are being mentioned here. Allah has said in the Holy Quran:

Woe to those who are indifferent to their prayers. Those who pray only to show (people). -Sura Maun (108): 4-5

Therefore, it is clear that Mulli will get this great benefit of Salat only, that is not the case. Indifference in prayer is not good for the worshiper; Rather, it brings evil. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

Allah has made the five daily prayers obligatory upon His slaves. Whoever performs the ablution properly and performs the prayer on time - thus performing the ruku-sijdah and khushu in full, Allah has promised pure forgiveness (in another narration, Paradise). And for the one who does not do this, there is no promise from Allah. If you wish, forgive or punish. -Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 22704; Sunan Abu Daud, Hadith 425

It is understood from this holy Irshad of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that a ‘ahd’ or agreement is made between Allah and the slave through prayer. And that deal is a little broad. There are some essential conditions for this, one of which is to perform khushu-khuzu in the prayer and to perform the ruku-sijdah slowly and properly.

Basically, it is the quality of prayer that keeps the worshiper away from wickedness and wrongdoing. It has been narrated in Hadith Sharif-

Surely the servant completes the prayer and it is written for him one-tenth (reward) or one-ninth or one-eighth, one-seventh, one-sixth, one-fifth, one-fourth, three One part or half of the prayer (reward). According to one narration, he gets the full reward and benefit of the prayer. -Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 1894; Sunan Abu Dawood, Hadith 696

That is, if the prayer is performed with full khush-khuzur (concentration of the heart and stability of the limbs) and the recitations and tasbeehs are also recited properly. Obligations, obligations, circumcisions and etiquettes are also performed well. But that worshiper will be given full reward and reward in the Hereafter and it will keep the worshiper away from evil and indecent deeds in this world. On the other hand, the prayer which is a meaningless formality, which is limited to the movement of limbs, so that the ruku-sijdah, kirat-qiyam is not performed properly, how can the prayer save the worshiper from unjust and indecent deeds? His prayers do not turn him away from indecent deeds and thoughts while he is praying. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

Successful are the believers who are steadfast in prayer. -Surah Muminun (23): 1-2

Introducing Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his Companions, Irshad said elsewhere,

Their symptoms will be evident in their face-to-face prostration. -Surah Fatah (47): 29

Hazrat Mujahid Rah in the interpretation of this verse. From pure sources, he said-

The prostration mark on the forehead here is not intended; The purpose is, ‘Khushu’. -Waki Ibn Rarah, Ayyuhad 2/596, Hadith 328; Tafsir Sufian Chawri p. 28; Ibn al-Mubarak, Ayuhad p. 69

Allama Alusi rah. Said-

‘Khushu’ is the ultimate expression of humility with the fear of the heart and the stability of the limbs. -Ruhul Maani 9/275

Hafez Ibn Kathir, the famous commentator. He said that he had the wealth of Khushu-Khuzur in Salat, who keeps his heart away from everything and keeps it only in Salat. -Tafsir Ibn Katheer 3/295

Only when one prays with such happiness does the prayer cool his eyes and cause peace of mind. As the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said in a hadeeth:

The coolness of my eyes has been given in the prayer. -Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 12293; Sunan Nasai, Hadith 9340

In another hadith, Belal has addressed,

Give me peace by arranging prayers, O Belal! -Sunan Abu Dawood, Hadith 4975

This is how a believer should feel about prayer. Salat is a safe haven for him, a source of peace of mind, a source of peace. On the other hand, the prayer is very difficult for the hypocrites and those who do not follow the prayers. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

Salat must be difficult. But khushu-khuzu (meaning meditation and humility) is not for the followers. -Surah Baqara (2): 45

In another verse Irshad has spoken about the character of the hypocrites:

(Surely the hypocrites) When they stand in prayer, they stand lazily. They show people, and they remember little of God. -Surah Nisa (4): 142

So the quality of a believer in prayer. On the other hand, laziness without khushu-khuzu is a characteristic of a hypocrite.
