Islam has set a unique example in establishing the right to justice. There must be justice in every aspect of human life. Righteousness is the power of conscience and the radiance of good deeds. Righteousness and justice are the means by which humanity is alive today. If there is no justice and fairness in a society, then it cannot be an ideal society. Instead, it becomes the center of oppression, the establishment of the sphere of influence. In Surah Al-Maidah, Allah the Almighty says, ‘O you who believe! Stand firm as witnesses for God with justice. Let not the enemy of any people persuade you in any way that you will not do justice. Do justice, that is nearer to piety, and fear God. Verily, All আল্লাহh is All-Aware of what you do. '(Surat al-Ma'ida: 6) The purpose of this saying of Almighty Allah is to establish justice in every aspect of life. King-subject, rich-poor, slave-master, judge-accused not to make any difference between them.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) has set a unique example of justice in the world. The judiciary of his time was so just that everyone had equal confidence in it. Because he was a neutral judge. That is why Allah the Almighty has repeatedly urged the Prophet to do justice. Irshad said, ‘Say, my lord! He instructed me to do justice. When you judge, judge justly. I have been commanded to establish justice among you. '(Surat ash-Shu'ara: 15) Elsewhere, Allah the Almighty said,' And if you judge, judge justly. Surely Allah loves the just. '(Surat al-Ma'ida: 42) The Companions were also very keen on justice. The righteousness of Hazrat Omar (ra) is very famous. Even if you go against your relatives, you have to do justice. Allah Ta'ala says, ‘O you who believe, be the establishers of justice as witnesses of Allah; Although it is against your own or your parents and relatives. If anyone is rich or poor, God is better for them than you are. Therefore, do not follow Ripur's wishes in judging. And if you turn away and turn aside, then surely Allah is Aware of what you do. '(Surah An-Nisa': 135) In Surah An-Naam, too, when you are a relative, justice is enjoined, Yes, then justice will be done even if (the disputing party) is a close relative of yours. '(Surat al-An'am: 152) Justice is such a virtue that if a person has this one virtue, he will not be able to commit any crime. Righteousness creates a healthy conscience among people and bridges the gap between people. The Holy Qur’an says, ‘Allah commands justice, righteousness and charity to relatives and He forbids obscenity, indecent acts and disobedience. He admonishes you so that you may remember. '(Surah Nahl: 90) The righteous rulers are those whom people love. And the worst rulers are those whom people hate. Narrated Awf Ibn Malik: He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'Your best ruler is those whom you love, and they love you.' You meet them and they join you. And your best rulers are those whom you hate, and they hate you. You curse them and they curse you too. '(Muslim: 1855) There are many valuable rewards for a principled judge with Allah Almighty. On the Day of Resurrection, they will have a wonderful opportunity to get closer to their Lord. Narrated Abu Saeed: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘On the Day of Resurrection, the most just ruler among the people will be the one who is dearest and closest to Allaah. And the most oppressive ruler among them will be the most hated and far from Allah. 'Narrated Abdullah bin Amr: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Both his hands are the right hand (that is, equal majesty) - those who do justice to their family members and the responsibilities assigned to them in their rule. '(Muslim: 1827) The righteous ruler will get the shadow of Allah the Almighty on the Day of Judgment. Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘On the day when there will be no shadow left except the shadow of Allaah, Allaah will give shade to seven people. One is a just king. '(Bukhari: 60) On the other hand, there is a warning of punishment in the Hereafter for the oppressive, dictatorial ruler. Any calamity can come down even in this world. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘If Allaah gives a servant the leadership of the people, and if he does not take care of them with good wishes, then he will not get the scent of Paradise.’ (Bukhari: 6150). In another hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘If a responsible person gets the responsibility of the Muslim people and he dies while he is a traitor, then Allaah will forbid Paradise for him.’ (Bukhari: 7151). When justice is done, God's help comes down. And if you persecute, Allah's help will increase. The devil becomes the companion. Hazrat Abdullah bin Abu Aufa (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Allah is with a judge as long as he is above injustice in justice. Come and become his companion. '(Tirmidhi: 1330). So the responsibility of all classes of rulers has to be taken as their deposit. In this case, the most qualified people should be appointed in the relevant posts. Then all kinds of immorality including kinship, bribery will not be tolerated from the society.
