The goal of the life of a true believer is to please Allah the Almighty. Because there is success in pleasing Allah. There are many people in the world who do a lot of good deeds, but God is not pleased with them, but He thinks that they are doing very good deeds. Concerning them Allah has declared: ‘Say: Shall I inform you of those who are most losers in deeds? They are the people whose efforts are in vain in the life of this world, but they think that they have done good deeds. '(Surah Al-Kahf, verses: 103-104). The criteria for God's satisfaction and displeasure are given below:
When one has the opportunity to do good deeds, then one should understand that Allah is pleased with him. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “If Allah wants to guide someone, He opens his heart to Islam; To him, following Islam becomes as difficult as ascending to heaven .... '(Surah An-Nam, verse: 125)
Regarding the above verse, Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Allah widens the heart of the person who is satisfied with it, so that he becomes a firm believer in Tawheed. (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
Meanwhile, it should be noted that Allah Almighty is doing some kind of work by me. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And Allaah guides those who follow the right path, and gives them strength to guard (against evil).” (Surat al-Muhammad, 18). GOD is pleased with those who seek His guidance. He makes it easy for them to walk in his ways.
Irshad has said, "Those who strive hard in My way, I will surely guide them to My way." (Surah Ankabut, verse: 69). Opportunity to do good deeds is a sign of gaining Allah's pleasure. Anas (ra) said that the Prophet (saas) said, ‘If Allah wishes to do good to any of His servants, He gives him the tawfiq to work. The question was, O Messenger of God! How does he give him the tawfiq to work? He said, "He gives the servant a chance to do good deeds before he dies." (Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2142)
Finding a good partner, companion, friend, employee, collaborator is a sign of God's satisfaction.
There are many people in today's society who have the will to do good, but their companions do not wish them well. This is the cause of God's displeasure. Narrated Ayesha: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If Allah wills for the welfare of a head of state, He will make an honest minister for him. If the head of state makes a mistake, he reminds him. And if he remembers, the minister cooperates with him. And if Allah wills to harm him, He appoints a bad man as his minister. If he forgets (God's command), the minister does not remind him, and if he remembers, he does not cooperate with him. (Abu Dawood, Hadith: 2932)
Whomever God loves is given a place in people's minds. Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘When Allah loves a slave, He calls Gabriel (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and says,‘ Surely Allah loves that slave, so love him too. Then Gabriel (peace be upon him) loved him. Then Gabriel (peace be upon him) declared among the inhabitants of the heavens that Allah loves such and such a servant. So you love him. Then the inhabitants of the sky began to love him. Then arrangements were made to honor him in the world as well. '(Bukhari, Hadith: 3209).
