If you fail at something, don't think your life is over. Rather think it’s a ‘comma’ in your life meaning a short break, not a ‘fullstop’ or end. There will be no tomorrow that has not happened or is likely to happen now or in the present, it does not make sense.

Islam instructs us not to despair if we fail to fulfill our dreams. Success will come after failure. Just as day comes when night falls. And Allah comforts those who are troubled by failure, saying: Do not despair and do not grieve. You will be victorious if you are believers. (Surah Al 'Imran: 139)
Islam forbids despair. God has not disappointed those who have done bad deeds in the first stage of life and are suffering from heartache by remembering their deeds later on. He gave them the good news of forgiveness to get back on track, saying, ‘Do not despair of Allah’s mercy. Surely Allah will forgive you all your sins. He is the Forgiving, the Most Merciful. Many people get frustrated and get addicted to all kinds of drugs. It provides temporary relief but does not relieve depression. Intoxication is forbidden in Islam. Therefore, those who are frustrated in the life of getting or not getting should be patient without getting drunk and pray to Allah for help. Because Allah Almighty is with the patient.
In this regard, Allah says: O you who believe! Seek help through patience and prayer. Surely Allah is with the patient. (Surat al-Baqara: 153). And Allah cannot afflict those who are with Him.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) instructed the depressed people to take some steps to gain peace of mind. Which will enliven and refresh their minds.
There are some prayers after every obligatory prayer. The person who recites them will never be disappointed or harmed. The deeds are to recite Tahmid (Alhamdulillah) thirty-three times, Tasbeeh (Subhanallah) thirty-three times and Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) thirty-four times. (Sahih Muslim)
We should not despair of temporary failures, obstacles and the pain of not being able to be patient and rely on Allah Almighty. May Allah grant us a life free from despair.
