Smoking means smoking or tobacco. In the modern age in every country, the majority of people have fallen prey to the habit of smoking cigarettes. Our country is perhaps, the sixth-largest tobacco-growing country in the world. The production of tobacco has been increasing at a tremendous pace. The habit of smoking is found in every part of the world. The permanent Doctor of the world has expressed their opinion about the adverse effect and harms of smoking. The fashion of smoking is however still at its peak. Smoking indeed invigorates the smoker's nervous system when he feels physical and mental exhaustion.
The after-effects of smoking are however very dangerous. Tobacco contains very small particles of Nicotine, which is a dangerous poison. Smoking is therefore very injurious to human health. Smoking causes bad breath. It causes a bad smell in the mouth. It damages the eyesight. It also damages the system of digestion. Too much smoking cause the loss of vitality. It causes heart-trouble. Lung cancer is mainly the result of smoking. It causes various other diseases. Smoking weakens memory. In this regard Balzac, a famous French writer has justly said.

There are some method which can enable a smoker to give up smoking First, he should abstain from smoking during his illness. Second, he should take the advantage of fasting in the normal way of life. Third, he should cut down the quantity of tobacco gradually. Fourth, he should eat light meals. Fifth, he should alight exercise daily. Sixth he should frequently change the brand of his tobacco or cigarette as this hange will diminish his pleasure of smoking hence he will smoke less.
