The disappearance of Brandon Lawson
Every year, a lot of people disappear without a trace. Many decide for themselves that they want to disappear, some who flee and some who fall victim to crime.
There are cases where rather strange circumstances make the disappearance mysterious and creepy.Such is the disappearance of Brandon Lawson.
The 26 years old Brandon Lawson quarreled with his partner in San Angelo, Texas, on the evening of August 9, 2013. There were several reasons for this, according to later statements. For example, that Brandon, who had been pure for more than 6 months, had used methamphetamine again, and that the man had not gone home the night before. According to his partner, Ladessa, he also looked very tired and weird that night.
Finally, shortly before midnight, the man angrily left their home by car. His girlfriend tried to call him not to do anything stupid and not to go to his distant father but to his closer brother. On the way, Brandon's car ran out of fuel so he called his brother, Kyle around 00:30 to get him fuel. His brother and his girlfriend and child sat in a car to set off to help him. At one o'clock, the driver of a truck called the 911 to report that a car had stopped irregularly at the side of the road with its back protruding onto the road. It was Brendon's car. At 1:58 a.m., his brother called Brendon again to know exactly where he was.
On the phone, it seemed as if Brandon could barely breathe, as if he was just running away from something or someone. He also said on the phone that he was bleeding and before he interrupted the call he was asked to hurry. However, when Kyle arrived at the scene, Brandon was not in his car and could not see him anywhere. Meanwhile, the police ia arrived. Brandon told his brother on the phone, "One time, run," which between the two of them meant they have to run away. Kyle said he wouldn't run and Brandon replied " Where is your pride " to him then hung up. This conversation meant that Brandon was nearby and saw Kyle and the police, but after the phone conversation, they could not find the man anywhere.
Kyle left the fuel, but in the morning the car was still standing there and Brandon was nowhere to be found. Police then towed the car and Brandon was never found.
A sound recording was later released showing Brandon calling 911 and talking about him being in the middle of a field and someone chasing him towards the woods. He asked the police for help and to hurry. In the background, perhaps, it is as if gun shots are being heard.
That call came 40 minutes before his brother arrived on the scene. This is strange because if he called the police himself, why was he hiding when they and his brother arrived? Where did his pursuers go in the meantime? If the dangerous situation is gone, why didn't he go back to the car when his brother arrived? Maybe because there was an arrest warrant for him. By the way, he had previously told his wife that some Mexican men in the area wanted to catch him for some reason. He also took money from his savings account before he disappeared. This raises the suspicion that Brandon really wanted to disappear and everything was staged. But it could also be that he wanted to go but something really unexpectedly happened to him that night. Maybe he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It never became clear what really happened to him, and he was never found, either alive or dead.
