Bill Morgan's luck
We often say to some people that they are lucky, but I really think there are lucky moments in every person’s life, most of the time luck comes to us because we actually did something for it.
For example (I’m just writing a random name) John is very lucky to get that super job. Yes, he is lucky to have just been chosen from several applicants, but he probably learned a lot to apply for the job at all. Emilia is lucky to have found herself a really hard-working, kind, caring, intelligent husband. Yes, she is lucky to have met her husband. But they would have met in vain if Emilia was a silly unassuming goose. The husband would probably not be her husband. So yes, luck can play a part in making good things happen. But there's really always something behind it. It could be simply karma. But that is another topic.
Bill Morgan can really call himself lucky. Although he had bad luck with his health, all in all, he was so fortunate that his story was on the verge of absurdity.
The man, who works as an Australian truck driver, was involved in an accident at work. (Sources are different about whether he had a heart attack and it caused the accident, or he had a heart attack after the accident, or his heart stopped). Bill was officially dead for 14 minutes, but eventually returned to life, but went into a coma due to a severe allergic reaction to a medication he received.
Doctors advised the family to agree to shut down the machines because the man has little chance of surviving and recovering. However, as soon as the family was close to the decision, the man woke up unexpectedly. Not only did he wake up, but he was healthy. That alone is a miracle, but his story is far from over.
After that, he did not return to his old job, but sought a new one and propose to Lisa Wells, his long-time girlfriend. She accepted.
Bill survived the non-survivor, he had a new job, his girlfriend wanted to be his wife. Everything is perfect. One day he bought a scratch card and won a brand new Toyota. Wow! It was really such a lot of luck that Bill survived the non-survivor, he had a new job, his girlfriend wanted to be his wife. Everything is perfect. One day he bought a scratch lottery ticket and won a brand new Toyota. Wow! It was really such a lot of luck that aroused media's interest.
Melbourne news decided to do a feature on him. They asked Morgan if he wouldn’t mind buying another scratch lottery ticket and then scratching it off on camera, as a sort of re-enactment of his winning scratch. When the man scraped it off, maybe he should have said something like "hooray, I won a car" or something for the sake of the interview, but he said something else. That “I just won $250,000. I’m not joking!”
Anyway, I’m sure the people present thought he was joking. Seriously..what are the chances of this? But it wasn’t a joke, Bill really won that huge amount.
Of course, there are people who don’t believe this story, and I can’t blame them because it’s really not an everyday story overall. However, the story gives some hope to everyone that it is possible to be so lucky and the life of an average person can change completely. What do you think about that?
Thinks like that happen, very rare cases. I have seen a guy surviving a car running over it's chest and he survived no broken bones anything, just little scratch, infact he is still Healthy and find but what surprised me most as we was weak and thin guy like average build. It happened before my eyes, for one second I thought I will see something disturbing but thankfully and miraculously nothing happened. He was really lucky in that case.
