Book Review: Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future
Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future by Ashley Vance is a good read. Yes, there is a bit of Elon-fanboy to it and it seems to skim large swaths of his life but it is a darn good start.
The information from his childhood and his early days were the most interesting because that is an area where I knew the least. Vance did a great job of build his backstory. It is in the more recent facets of Musk's life that the book seems to fall short. Large segments of his companies' growth are given barely a sentence or two.
If you like (or even dislike) Elon Musk and would like to know more about the man before the jaw and hairline implants, this is a great start. You cannot help but be impressed with the breadth and depth of his commitment to trying to, and accomplishing huge goals despite their seemingly impossibility.
