As we all know, Philippines is still recording high number of cases of COVID-19 everyday and as of now there are 435,463 cases and 1.94069301% of all the cases resulted to death, 93.98134859% have recovered and 4.077958403% of the cases are still active.
Total cases as of now: 435,463
Deaths: 1.94069301%
Recoveries: 93.98134859%
Still active: 4.077958403%
These numbers are timely legitimate base on the Department of Health record and as we can see, the number of deaths is only at almost 2% compared to the overall cases but the alarming thing is that IT IS POSSIBLE THAT NOT ALL THESE DEATHS ARE 100% TRUE.
I can say it because of my empirical experience. There is this friend of our neighbor living in a municipality inside Misamis Oriental that suffered a heart attack and died at the hospital. It was sad for the family and what became more sad and devastating is the Doctor's plea to the family. The Doctor asked them if they could charge their dead father as a COVID-19 death case in exchange of FINANCIAL AMORTIZATION. Can you imagine the situation of the family if they had accepted the proposal. Instead of mourning for their late father they could have been sent to an isolation facility and that could have been outrageous.
See? You cannot believe it but it is 100% true.
These 1.94069401% or specifically 8,451 number of people dying due to COVID-19 is possibly fraud... or even the whole statistics including the overall number of cases is possibly a scheme. We are all trying our best to help to end this pandemic but there are people abusing their authority and that is called CORRUPTION.
All we can hope is the vaccine that will make this pandemic end soon.
