Puzzles giving private addresses/seed words have been around since the beginning of crypto as a fun way to encourage adoption however as crypto has grown, these puzzles have become more... 'exclusive'. They're near impossible for anyone without technical knowledge which excludes a large portion of people potentially interested in cryptocurrencies.
That is why I created r/cryptopuzzler on reddit. At present it is the home to story based puzzles where people have to find the seed words to access the prize (currently offered in Dogecoins).
People have to find the seed words by identifying clues in the story and accompanying images. I use a variety of methods to hide the seed words but also keep prizes low to avoid people bruteforcing.
I am trying to gauge if this would interest the BCH community. Given the puzzles are funded via donations/faucets, the deciding factors to choosing cryptocurrencies to offer as prizes are:
- How interested the community is
- Whether or not there are viable faucets
- Transaction fees
I have identified BCH as being perfectly viable in terms of funding (thanks to noise.cash and read.cash), I am more interested in if there is genuine interest.
