Bitcoin cash adoption: St. Marten sets a perfect example thanks to Roger Ver Lead Image source https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Upcoming-Network-Stress-Test-Will-Put-Bitcoin-Cash-Ecosystem-to-New-Limits.jpg The Caribbean is becoming a major place for the adoption of Bitcoin cash. Several businesses and individuals have begun to accept and use Bitcoin cash as a means of exchange for goods and services, and for daily transactions instead of the conventional fiat via bank transfer or fiat. A lot of businesses have started accepting Bitcoin cash as means of payment since it has a lot more advantages over fiat, especially in terms of negligible transaction fee and faster transactions, zero tax, with the added advantages of privacy and anonymity due to its decentralized nature. This movement started with **Rolando Brison** a parliament member of St. Marten and the leader of the United People's Party (UP party St. Marten) announcing and signing on the 19th of March to have his entire salary paid in Bitcoin cash. https://twitter.com/MPBrison "*I believe St. Maarten has a chance to be the ‘Crypto Capital of the Caribbean’ if we continue to innovate and embrace cryptocurrency and all the benefits of blockchain technology*" - MP Ronaldo Brison. He is leading by example thank to the hard work and guidance by Bitcoin cash Jesus- **Roger Ver** ( @RogerVer) who has prioritized attracting people and businesses to using Bitcoin cash, and has succeeded in this cause because Bitcoin cash is not just any cryptocurrency but is actual cash that can be spent with ease and convenience without fear of a transaction fee which defeats the purpose of Peer-to-Peer electronic payment. https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=81a726c7b19af6cf531dd7df01d39c07d01de2e22cce36dd27144a277e1af2dcJmltdHM9MTY1MzA3OTMyOSZpZ3VpZD01YzBmNWNhYi0yNWRkLTQwMTMtODAzNC1jZTU2YWFlYzc0NWImaW5zaWQ9NTEzOQ&ptn=3&fclid=517884f8-d87d-11ec-b4ad-c0c513322324&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly90d2l0dGVyLmNvbS9yb2dlcmt2ZXI&ntb=1 https://youtu.be/haKZF4T8nRA Merchants are following in the example set by R. Brison and are gradually actualizing MP's dream of making St. Marten the crypto capital of the Caribbean. Now you can take a taxi with stickers that says 'I accept Bitcoin cash' and pay using the same. Coffee shops, bars, hotels, pubs and many more now accept bitcoin cash as payment because it is electronic cash that works. The shareable link feature of the bitcoin.com wallet makes it even easier as you can simply share a payment link to the recipient via WhatsApp and once clicked the Bitcoin cash balance is instantly updated without delay. Coffee shops, pubs, hotels, restaurants and many more service providers and business owners are now accepting Bitcoin cash because they have come to see the greater picture of Bitcoin cash and the advantages it provides now and in the long run. Now you can simply go to the Caribbean without going through the stress of carrying physical cash because with Bitcoin cash your money follows you everywhere. Onboarding merchants to #BitcoinCash is easy, because #BCH just works, they simply need to understand what it holds in store for them and how it benefits their business in the long run via privacy, and money that is a hundred percent owned and controlled by the owner. Faster transactions and negligible fees also comes in handy. https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/bitcoincash https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/bch Regardless of whether you are in the Caribbean or not, if you are interested in making payments in Bitcoin cash (BCH) instead of going through the hassle of swapping to fiat, you can discover merchants accepting Bitcoin cash near you on **bitcoin.com maps**. If you are a merchant and want to accept Bitcoin cash as payment you can register on **Bitcoin cash register** and begin your Bitcoin cash journey. https://www.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-cash-register/

Reversible USDT transactions on Ethereum and Tron network Lead Image source https://coindesk-news.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/6-1-1.jpg Can crypto transactions be reversed? The question of whether cryptocurrency transactions can be reversed or not has been and will always be asked. This question is not asked simply due to curiosity, but a higher percentage of the time is due to funds being sent to a wrong address. Even the 'non-newbies' and 'experts' can mistakenly send funds to wrong recipients due to not double checking the addresses before hitting the 'send' button. Unlike in bank transfers, where a sender may complain to the bank and the recipient will be contacted/ account will be frozen and amount received will be force-reversed in the case of a non-compliance from the receiver, the answer to the above question is 'NO'. Transactions in Bitcoin, and other cryptocurrencies are designed to be irreversible. With the long string of Alphanumerical characters in crypto addresses, the chances of sending funds to a wrong address in very high and mostly inevitable. A mistake in a single character in the address means that the cryptocurrency being sent will be permanently lost in the block and cannot be recovered. For it to be recovered, half the miners (50%) have to agree that there is an error and reverse it accordingly. Unfortunately, this is also impossible due to the hundreds of thousands of miners around the world. It will be impossible to get them all to agree. You wouldn't even be able to contact them in the first place. USDT transactions are reversible USDT (US Dollar Tether), a stable coin which is pegged to a dollar is heavily centralized in opposition to other cryptocurrencies which are decentralized. This means that the governing bodies are in control of your funds and can monitor and control 'where and what' your money 'goes and does'. Unlike other cryptocurrency transactions that cannot be reversed in the events of an incorrect recipient address, transactions in USDT can be reversed. USDT transactions on the Tron and Ethereum network can be frozen and reversed using smart contracts which allows tokens to be frozen, destroyed, issued, and sent. https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=e2d8f931c4281e5fac5e74201e8da34c62a11ad1f0162ae11da3b245dec392a9JmltdHM9MTY1Mjk3ODM2NyZpZ3VpZD0zMzNjMTM4NC1hN2QxLTRiNTEtYTllNS04NTcxYTFhOTY0ZGYmaW5zaWQ9NTM0MA&ptn=3&fclid=3f8ca5fc-d792-11ec-ac65-ea473319e6dc&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuaWJtLmNvbS90b3BpY3Mvc21hcnQtY29udHJhY3RzIzp-OnRleHQ9U21hcnQlMjBjb250cmFjdHMlMjBhcmUlMjBzaW1wbHklMjBwcm9ncmFtcyUyMHN0b3JlZCUyMG9uJTIwYSxvdXRjb21lJTJDJTIwd2l0aG91dCUyMGFueSUyMGludGVybWVkaWFyeSVFMiU4MCU5OXMlMjBpbnZvbHZlbWVudCUyMG9yJTIwdGltZSUyMGxvc3Mu&ntb=1 Therefore, funds which were either sent to wrong addresses or stolen can be recovered on the Tether blockchain. The reversibility of transactions on stable coins may seem like an advantage from the perspective of the situation discussed above, yet it defeats the purpose of cryptocurrency in the case of anonymous peer to peer transfer. The features of USDT was created so the governing bodies can be compliant with requests from law enforcement agencies. This means that there is no privacy and the users do not have 100 percent control of their funds. This is cryptocurrency defeated. Permit me to quote a statement by @scottcbusiness in his article (**How Safe Are Stablecoins Part 1 – Fiat-Collateralized Coins**). "*One of the things to understand about stable coins that are heavily centralized like USDT aka tether is that they have 100% control over all of the funds with way more over reach than any bank of the Federal reserve could have*". https://read.cash/@scottcbusiness/how-safe-are-stablecoins-part-1-fiat-collateralized-coins-b3689c67 Conclusion Transactions in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and many others cannot be reversed due to their decentralized nature. On the other hand, USDT transactions can be reversed and is not designed to be decentralized. Though this seems like a good thing in the case of lost or stolen funds, you have reasons to be scared because it means that users do not have overall control of their funds and their transactions can be monitored, controlled and questioned. In a few days, I will be writing extensively on how the reversibility of USDT transactions eliminates anonymity in peer to peer electronic payment, thus defeating the purpose of cryptocurrency. Crypto Journey to Bitcoin cash and read.cash Lead Image source https://coinivore.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/BitcoinCash.jpg I got into the world of cryptocurrency in the year 2017. A newbie who did things blindly without a guide. I didn't find my way until 2021 when I was able to join the AxieBCH guild and got to play an NFT game Axie infinity where I got my first crypto payment with a 60/40 share. 60% to the scholar and 40% to the managers- a fair share. Surprisingly, the payment was made in the cryptocurrency- Bitcoin cash (BCH). The guild was promoting BCH in their own way which I found interesting. The concept of Bitcoin cash (BCH) for P2P exchange with faster transaction and lower transaction fee raised my curiosity and made me ask certain question about its realism. This curiosity brought me gain more understanding of the plans for mass adoption of BCH as a means of exchange, and how it aims to solve the problems of fiat such as theft, inflation, inefficiency and a lot more. I see that a lot of merchants in the Philippines have begun to accept it in exchange for goods and services, certain online merchants too. My curiosity didn't end, but brought me to this platform where I can also join several people in earning cryptocurrency and encourage mass adoption in my own way. I've read a lot of articles from this platform and I feel encouraged by @Big-E's due to his writing style and how he explains the concept of BCH from a non-bias perspective. I look forward to reading a lot more from him. Now I'm fully interested in Bitcoin cash (BCH) and I intend to enjoy this journey to see where it leads me- I anticipate a very interesting journey. Apart from playing Axie infinity under the AxieBCH guild which sparked my interest in the world of Bitcoin cash, I have also invested my time and money into spot and future trading where I have lost a substantial amount of money due to my carelessness and overconfidence. I have gains as weel. I also have gains from an airdrop on smartBCH via the $Cats giveaway on twitter in 2021 September which was worth about $300+and extra gains from buying shibaBCH when it was still at its early stage. I invested $7 and got a profit of $70 within a week and few days. A very wonderful events which made me fall in love with cryptocurrencies and BCH, smartBCH projects. I may have gotten those gain from smartBCH but I wouldn't invest anymore for now due to the up-rise of rug pullers. Altogether the world of BCH is a wonderful one which I'm glad I found. I also found read.cash where I can earn BCH from making quality content, and I'm glad I did. I look forward to learning a lot more in the world of cryptocurrency because I still have a lot to learn. I read @Bitcoincashautist's post titled **Celebrating Bitcoin Cash May-2022 Upgrade - 2.5 BCH Giveaway** many times but didn't understand the instructions given which proved I was still far behind in the knowledge and reality of cryptocurrency. I'm hoping to learn from him and a lot more people on this platform if time and situation permits. https://read.cash/@bitcoincashautist/celebrating-bitcoin-cash-may-2022-upgrade-25-bch-giveaway-9a84a578
