Meet BadgerCoin, a new kind of CashToken only available on BCH. Created by Sayoshi Nakamario of Helpme.Cash fame. You can only get BadgerCoins by locking up your BitcoinCash in a smart contract for a while. When the lockup time ends, you get your BCH and some new BadgerCoins back. Each lockup costs a tiny fee. The more BCH you lock and the longer you lock it, the more BadgerCoins you get. In the future, you’ll be able to use BadgerCoins for discounts on a new Badger NFT.

LIBAUTH’S LATEST UPDATE SIMPLIFIES DIGITAL SECURITY WITH NEW FEATURES

Libauth has launched its latest version, v3.0.0, introducing more consistency across utilities, detailed usage guides, and a new API overview in the readme. A highlight of this release is the generateDeterministicEntropy utility, which seeds SHA-256 with a list of random events like coin flips or dice rolls to generate deterministic entropy. However, users are cautioned that the events must be truly random for the function to maintain its security integrity. This function is also compatible with Coldcard’s deterministic key generation workflow when used with six-sided dice, making it a versatile tool for users. In simple terms, this update makes Libauth more user-friendly and versatile, while enhancing its security features.
