Many people always say, to forgive is to forget. They say, if you truly forgive that person, you should also forget. They also keep on adding this sentence, "Past is past".

Forgiving someone who committed mistakes either mild or grave is a great act of being a person. Accepting him or her again to enter into your life is priceless.

When you are a person who gives someone your forgiveness is absolutely great. I salute you for being a strong person with a great heart. You are not a stoned hearted person. You are undoubtedly a great person who is willing to accept the nature of life and anew a better life.

But, does forgiving and forgetting go as well? Forgiving someone who either betrayed, harassed, hated, disrespected and unloved you doesn't mean, we also forget the things they did to us. For me, it doesn't come along. We tend to forgive those people but we shouldn't forget ALL. We just need to forget those horrible things that happened to us but don't forget the lesson it brought to our lives. We must not forget the moral. Because, not forgetting those things doesn't mean that we aren't done with the issue yet. Some may think, we are still bitter but not forgetting will also remind us to be aware. It will be an instrument for us which will help us not to let history repeat itself. It is our way to put our lives back again with precautions. It is a way to open our life into new door that will lead to us to peaceful and happy life.

Forgiving is divine. Forgetting is another thing. Not forgetting is also great. FORGIVE, FORGET the bad things, and NOT FORGET THE LESSON. 💜
