What is the first thing to do after getting sick?
Severe weather and overwork can often make us sick. Do you know what to do first when you are sick?
Some people think that you should take medicine as soon as you feel the symptoms of the disease so that the disease goes away before it starts, but is it really true?
US experts suggest another alternative. Experts say that if you feel sick, you should rest in bed instead of taking medicine.
According to a study published in The Journal of Experimental Medicine, the experiment was performed on two groups of 10 people. One group was told to stay awake until midnight, while the other group went to bed as usual.
Some experts analyzed their immune cells (T cells). Experts found that people who completed their sleep had better T-cells, which helped them fight disease. Capacity increased.
In contrast, people who did not get enough sleep did not have enough T cells to fight off the germs, which increased their risk of developing the disease.
Experts suggest that if you feel sick, you should rest for a while before taking the medicine, even after that if the disease persists, you should consult a doctor.
