Petition filed against Elon Musk for cruelty to animals in the laboratory
Elon Musk's two companies, SpaceX and Tesla, are well-known in the list of the richest people in the world.
But Elon Musk has also set up a company called NeuraLink to control the human brain, with the aim of creating a device that could connect the human brain to a computer.
The echo of Elon Musk's largely anonymous brain chip company was heard last week when the US Department of Agriculture filed a lawsuit in court.
The petition accuses Neurallink of cruel treatment of monkeys of the Macaque breed (the macaque monkey belonging to the langur breed, considered one of the world's oldest and tallest animals) for experiments on brain chip technology. Is doing
The application further states that Neuralink has performed highly lethal brain experiments on 23 monkeys in the laboratory, while the upper part of the skulls of many animals has been removed to install electrodes in their brains.
However, in its blog, NeuraLink denies all these allegations, saying, "We believe in the welfare of animals. We treat animals very humanely and morally."
However, Elon Musk has not yet commented on the matter.
