April 3, 2022 or 1 Ramdhan tomorrow, all Muslims around the world will welcome the holy month of Ramadan. And for 1 month, Muslims will fast. Fasting is a mandatory worship that must be carried out by Muslims who have reached puberty as a command of Allah

All Muslims around the world are very enthusiastic about welcoming this holy month, because God promises that this month will be given a double reward for his servants who are sincere in worship.

One of the enthusiasm of the Muslim ummah is to hold various traditions or customs that have been carried out for a long time. At my place, I also have a tradition of welcoming the month of Ramadan, namely " Meugang Day "

Meat prices will definitely increase drastically than usual. Yesterday was the first day of roasting and the price of 1 kg of meat was 170,000 - 180,000 rupiah or $12-13. It's very expensive, but the people of my area are still enthusiastic about buying meat to eat with their family, because it's a tradition.

Every time this meugang day comes. I remember my childhood. My late mother was very good at cooking meat up to several types of dishes in 1 day and I really miss those days. Gather with family, cook together, and it's very happy

And today I will be very busy cooking meat. And I will cook rendang and red cooked meat, typical of my area, Aceh, Indonesia
