Does the opportunity exist?

The time that has passed is impossible for us to go back. So face a new day for a new opportunity.

In life we are always competing to be able to face life's competition that is getting tougher. It is not easy to get something without going through a struggle that is not light. In the life that is lived every human being must have the opportunity to easily achieve a desired goal.

However, what exactly does Opportunity mean?

What we know is that the opportunity is an advantage because we can take it or even ignore it. Opportunity can also be equated with time. Why time? because it didn't come twice. Very trivial indeed but sometimes if we ignore an opportunity usually regret later, then all opportunities require decisions (wise decisions of course) because decisions determine fate. So an opportunity depends on how humans make decisions.

In an article I've read that says "Half the contents are Half Empty" it means that there are 3 types of people who see an opportunity coming, namely:

1. Weak people, waiting for opportunities.

2. Strong people, create opportunities.

3. Wise people, take advantage of opportunities.

For the weak, if the opportunity has not come he will wait and wait patiently until the opportunity comes. And if the opportunity has not come for so long, then he will make a decision…. Yes, this is indeed my fate. (hopeless)

Meanwhile, for a strong person, if the opportunity has not yet come, he will use various methods and techniques, with all his creativity, connectivity, and all his abilities to create that opportunity. This type of person has the principle that opportunity does not just come, but opportunity must be sought or created.

And for an intelligent person, he will take advantage of the opportunity as well as possible, because he realizes that opportunity is a very valuable gift and it doesn't mean it will come a second time.

Which type are we?

In fact, under certain conditions, the emergence of opportunities that may take time to mature. We need to wait a moment, but not passively. Instead, we wait for the opportunity with an alert, proactive and prepared attitude.

However, there are some irresponsible people who take advantage of the wrong opportunity, such as acts of corruption, for example, this is still difficult to overcome because it is still dominated by certain powers who are not transparent in conveying information. Another term is opportunity in adversity. Many people themselves do not want to compete in a healthy manner but instead choose to take an easier shortcut but risk being caught by the law.

Likewise, when we are in a relationship, we must maintain an attitude, good words so that we are liked by the people around us. When we betray them, do something bad. Then it will be difficult to accept again and if we are lucky we are still given the opportunity, namely a trust to be with them again. And we have to be able to protect and maintain it.

Opportunity given by God

God also always provides an opportunity, namely the opportunity to forgive all sins for those who ask forgiveness from Allah. Accompanied by a sense of regret and trying not to repeat the same mistakes. We as God's servants take advantage of this good opportunity by doing a lot of good throughout their lives. Imagine, if God did not give an opportunity in the form of forgiveness from him. When we sin, that very second God will punish us without giving us any chance.

When we are not given a chance

Have you ever been in a position when you were no longer given the opportunity. In love, work or family. Even though you have proven that you are worthy of being given a chance. Like there is a very high barrier that blocks you from proving it. You still have good values and can be responsible for certain things.

You've tried to prove but you also don't get the opportunity. Until you want to give up and just stop. When that happens, maybe all we can do are :

1. Look around you, are you still on the ground?

As long as we're still breathing. That means we are still given the opportunity to be better. When you wake up and you are still on the ground. So, that's the opportunity and take advantage of it. You can do it

2. Prove you still have value

If those around you still don't want to give you a chance, all you need to do is prove that you still have value. No need to be angry with them you just do as it should.

3. Proving it is long but worth it the main thing.

At the time of proving there will be many obstacles that you will face, ridicule, despised and really not worth giving a chance. Please don't give up, there's nothing instant to get something. Proof to be given a chance is indeed the process, no one knows, no one knows, it could be just a moment or even a long time until you are annoyed with yourself. But remember, all your struggles are worth it!

4. Be grateful for what you have today.

If you have done all kinds of efforts but are still not given a chance. So step back, be proud to accept and be grateful for what you are living today or are in the position you are in now. There may still be someone out there who wants your position. Live with sincerity and perseverance. Maybe one day the opportunity will present itself without you remembering it

5. Don't be discouraged, cheer up!

Tired? Reasonable. Give up? Not yet. Back to the point above. When you are still on this Earth, you still enjoy free air, eat, drink, can still do activities and when you wake up your life is still full, that's a sign that you are still given something called OPPORTUNITY . Fix all the things that you might think are less than optimal or maybe there was an error in the past, solve it. If there's something you want, do it while you can. Do it to the best of your ability.

Don't be discouraged because you weren't given a chance in the end, you can look for that opportunity elsewhere. A place where you can show that you have useful values for those around you.

Every day is a second chance

We always hear the term "second chance" which means that after experiencing failure, disappointment or mistakes we are still forgiven and can be trusted to do what we normally do.

Is it really a second chance? Can everyone get it? Or only certain people?

When someone has made a mistake, failed in his life and regretted it and we say "If I was given a second chance I would do better" said the second chance we make it as consolation and life support. What should we do, wait, beg, beg, be reckless etc.? Maybe we often hear people say, opportunities don't come twice. Thus, so-called "second chances" are usually expressed in presuppositions that contain promise. If I had a second chance, I would do this. If I was given a second chance, then I would do even better.

Such expressions sound resigned, as if the opportunity is something given by someone else, coming from outside of us, so that we can only wait and wish while imagining a situation when what we wished for became a reality. How should we respond to the word opportunity that we all feel happy when living it?

You have wasted the opportunity. I just lost a very valuable opportunity. Don't let that opportunity pass you by. In the face of opportunity, we seem helpless; Opportunity is like a slippery force, easily released, beyond our control, so it requires full anticipation of body and soul.

This is the opportunity I've been waiting for. The opportunity finally came. Here, opportunities are like something that comes from far away, unattainable, and once again we can only resign ourselves to waiting, maybe while sitting around bored chewing kuaci. Opportunity is like luck, comes suddenly after a long wait, becomes a surprise and brings a burst of happiness.

Give me a chance. You deserve a chance. I'll give you another chance. This time, the opportunity is like a form of appreciation for a certain assessment result or quality. There is a kind of power relation, between the giver and the recipient or the requester, the appraiser and the appraiser, the judge and the defendant. Opportunity is a gift as well as a testing tool, a measure of morale.

Opportunity usually relates to the "big" affairs of love, career, home, and health. We break up, get heartbroken, then feel guilty and have wasted opportunities. We fail the interview to get the job we want, then regret it, and feel like we have lost

Very valuable opportunity. We cheat, screw things up, and hope to be given one more chance to improve.

We are diagnosed by a doctor with a fatal, dangerous disease, told that the opportunity to heal is "fifty-fifty", then we pray wholeheartedly to God, asking for healing, while promising, if given a second chance, we will be closer to Him and devote the rest of one's life only to good.

Because God sees our sincerity, or vice versa, deliberately wants to test our sincerity, then we are finally healed. We are saved from disease. At that moment, we feel we have been given a second chance. Opened a new door, to live a new day. We are grateful, we are more diligent in worshiping, giving charity to others, staying away from various lifestyles that we used to be familiar with and contributing to the arrival of the disease that almost took our lives yesterday.

However, many of us have to face repeated failures, repeated mistakes that make our lives messy, and various problems that come and go and seem endless.

We sink, fall, roll in the waves of life that beat us mercilessly. We can get up, and stand tall again, and start everything with new energy and passion to mend what has been broken. But, we can also fall deeper and deeper, as if facing a deadlock, surrounded by thick walls, and there is no turning back.

Then, where is the second chance? Why don't second chances come to anyone? Why do some people deserve a second chance "angel" and others don't? What are the conditions? Do second chances come to random people? We have put in the same effort, prayed the same fervent prayer, but why have the results been different?

Simple but very meaningful

That every day is a second chance : to improve, try harder, be more compassionate, live healthier, keep promises, forget unnecessary plans, make new plans, make dreams come true?

Why wait for the new year to start new things? Why must there be a certain moment before we reach it. If we always remember that every day is a new day, then we have far more moments and "reasons" to always start anything, make resolutions, as well as open endless opportunities for every effort to make it happen. Because every day is a second chance.

Take the chance. All life is opportunity. The person who goes the farthest is usually the one who is willing to do and brave

I think people who always have opportunities are people who don't know despair, so every day that will come there will definitely be a second chance.

We are weak because we do not want to be reckless and appear greedy. We are like this, yes, let it be and can still enjoy what we have today. We just live as we should
