Many countries. About 61 percent of the world's population lives in Asia, which is the most populous continent in the world. In China alone 1.44 billion and in India 1.39 billion people live which is 19% and 18% of world population respectively.

In most developing countries there are a large number of people who are illiterate, living below the poverty line, and having little or no knowledge of family planning. In addition, marrying your children at an early age increases your chances of having more children. The effects of human population dynamics on the environment take two major forms: first, the use of natural resources such as land, food, water, air, fossil fuels and minerals. Second, use results in waste production such as air and water pollution, toxic materials and greenhouse gasses.

Due to our continued need for more population and factory-made products, there has been a shortage of freshwater in rivers and seas. Factories discharge all their waste into rivers and lakes resulting in loss of freshwater.  I think the most obvious way to reduce the population is for people to have less children. In countries where children and young children are less likely to survive in adulthood, it is more common for families to have more children. It is even more common for families to have more children in places where these children may be needed to help work. However, more children also mean more people feed and care for them.
