Giant pandas spend their lives eating bamboo and roaming the forest floor. They are good mountaineers and can also swim. They do not make pits (except to put children inside) or hibernate. They prefer shallow slopes and living alone. If the mountains are very cold, they go down to the valleys where the heat is high.

Yes, pandas love to be alone. They can be classified as isolated. With or without other animals, they are satisfied with themselves. Don't be deceived by their great looks, pandas are the best at climbing trees. With their hands and nails, they usually have a strong grip on tree branches and trunks. So, once they feel the smell of other pandas, climbing a nearby tree is the next step.

Female pandas give birth to one or two very young children between 100 and 189 days of pregnancy. If there are two children at birth, only one will have one because the mother panda likes to pay attention to only one of them.

Despite being obese, pandas are very (and fast!) able to climb trees. Their nails are sharp that allow them to gain traction by pressing into tree trunks and branches. Pandey is an expert in tree climbing. At the age of 6, panda's children will be taught to climb trees by their mothers. While raising baby pandas, mothers usually live in caves or tree holes.
