Porn star hired a hitman to take out her baby daddy.

Finding a hitman is not easy. More often than not, people who want to have someone killed off are caught by the police. That should be enough to deter people but it’s not for some people.

A great example of hiring a hitman gone wrong is the case of porn star Lynn Pleasant. She was blinded by rage because one of her children’s fathers did not want to compromise with her. She was also reportedly unhappy that he entered into a new relationship.

Her anger would be her undoing.

The Infamous Lynn Pleasant?

Lynn Pleasant is known for starring in several hundred porn videos. A Google search doesn’t reveal any niche that she fit into, instead, she seemed to accept any and every scene that she was offered.

Pleasant was exceptionally popular with fans and her costars. But who was the woman behind the sexy image?

Pleasant was born Katrina Danforth on August 4, 1987. Though there is some debate about the year of birth. Some sites have her aged 37, which would make her year of birth 1982. It is possible Pleasant purposely gave out misinformation to keep her porn career going.

For the most part, she has been able to keep her private life quiet. This supports the theory that she gave out bad information to keep people from finding out too much about her. She was unable to keep her birthdate, and the fact she was born in North Dakota and at some point moved to Idaho quiet.

And of course, the fact that she had murderous intentions towards her ex.

The Crimes Of Lynn Pleasant

While she might have done a good job keeping her family and friends from the limelight, Pleasant has not been as good at controlling her anger. There are reports that the police have been called on her for domestic disturbances in the past. However, no charges have been filed.

Pleasant’s luck ran out with her latest blow up.

There was an argument with her baby daddy. Reports suggest his initials are R.H. After the argument, she decided that R.H. needed to be taken care of. Permanently. She vented to a friend. During the conversation, she admitted to wanting to hire someone to murder her ex.

Conveniently, the friend she was talking to had the number for a hitman. Who just has a hitman’s number on their phone?

The number that the friend gave her was for an undercover cop. Some believe Pleasant was set up by the friend. Others argue that the friend would not knowingly hurt her and feels bad about how things ended up.

Pleasant met with the undercover cop and they talked about what she needed to be done. She explained the ideal way to kill R.H. But she told him to do whatever was necessary if things got out of control. Including hurting anyone that might get in the way of the job being done.

Prosecutors said: “She had specific requirements that the hitman was to accomplish, such as R.H.’s body had to be found, and she did not care if others who lived in the home were harmed, as long as her own child was not harmed.”

Pleasant agreed to pay the “hitman” $5,000. She sent him a thank you card with $2,500 inside. It was a deposit for the services. It also gave authorities enough evidence to arrest her.

This is a lesson to not go cheap on hiring a hitman. Like buying a house or a car, it is something that should be looked at like an investment. Pleasant learned this lesson the hard way.

The Charges Lynn Pleasant Faces

Pleasant was arrested in December of 2018. She was charged with five counts of using interstate commerce in the commission of murder for hire. When she was arrested, Pleasant swore she was innocent and had no idea why she was being taken into custody.

On August 6, 2019, just two days after her alleged birthday, her tune changed. Pleasant pleaded guilty to all the charges against her.

A federal judge sentenced the former porn star to 10 years in prison.

Sometimes hiring someone to kill an ex doesn’t pay.

I love true crime. We need to see more of it here! Are there any true crime stories involving investment bankers or hedge fund managers?
