Bravecto is a monthly chewable tablet that protects against fleas and ticks for 12 weeks. It is a single-dose treatment that can be given to dogs and cats of all ages and does not require a prescription. Bravecto is safe for dogs and cats of all ages and given as a single dose by mouth.
I doubt anything will be effective against ticks. BTW thicks are mainly a problem for young animals, and fleas are the last thing I would worry about (feed garlic it might help too). Stable flies and mosquitoes are more dangerous.
