Altilly, one of altcoin exchange got hacked in 26th December. In its announcement on the website, the Altilly Team noticed suspicious activities on their server since 23rd December. They checked the server and found unusual activity and new user created. They did not know what happened exactly, but their servers rebooted several times, so they decided to move to another hosting. But in 25th Morning, they lost access to their servers at hosting provider, which includes the production webservers, the databases, and wallets. A request came via the hosting client portal to delete all servers on the account.
On an update, they announced the offsite storage account has also compromised and their backups were deleted by hacker.
They announced again in 26th that they can recovered some assets though they could not tell which asset belong to who, as they have not recover the database yet. They recover most of altcoins, BTC Clones and Cryptonote clones though major coins have not recover in the time of writing.
Altilly Customers can do nothing but waiting patiently while Altilly team trying to recover their assets, together with hosting provider.
Altilly Devs are working their best to recover all assets, databases and wallets, in time of writing. Hope every assets and data recover in the end.
