The Queen of Misfortune
This is an untold story of a girl who was wide-awake when the sky was pouring out a vast amount of stupidity and bad luck.
**(PRONE TO BALL GAME INCIDENTS)** At a young age, she was known to be a magnet that attracts diverse misfortunes wherever she goes. Alas! I think she catches almost all kinds of balls but not with bare hands, oftentimes it hits her delicate face, chest, head, and stomach, have you notice? It seems really intentional. She was hit three times by a basketball literally on the spot of the game, she didn’t give a damn on it and just let it be, (medyo nakayanan pa LOL). It was during her elementary days when she was just passing by while having fun with her friends, unexpectedly a football was flying towards her, as if ready to give an awful slap to her face, good thing she didn’t passed out. Now let’s proceed to the next one. I guess you are already familiar with the baseball game right? Well that game gave her a little bit of trauma, she is the third baseman of the game wearing a huge brown glove in her right hand, and again she didn’t escape her fate, the small but weighty ball was thrown straight to her leaving a dreadful round reddish mark on her chest, how pity. Last but never the least on the list, this unfortunate queen was a volleyball player, it was during the training when her captain ball (the leader of the team) was extremely out of the mood throwing countless torturous and inescapable spikes to her as well as to her colleagues, she was giving all her full concentration to the ball, and suddenly she heard an unknown individual calling out her name and then BOOM! An intense blow strikes her head, this time she had her first ever K.O (KNOCK OUT), she was stunned with just one spike and because of that funny incident the Captain ball and her co-teammates could not bear and suppressed their laughter, see? what a shameless team indeed, but there’s no need to worry about she’s still alive and kicking. What a disaster!
**SHE FAILED TO DELIVER HER VIRTUAL SPEECH DURING HER FINAL EXAMINATION (DUE TO SLOW CONNECTIVITY)** She was in the middle of her virtual class waiting for her turn to deliver her speech. She prepared a lot in order to come up with a wonderful performance. The signal was going well and it gave her a relief and somehow expects that she could finish it without any interruptions or technical issues. Finally, her professor mentioned her name and when he started to speak, suddenly the connection was lost, what a great timing, she began to panic and ended up overthinking that she might fail. After a few minutes she went back, but sad to say she wasn’t given any consideration and just became hopeless. She had a hard time to accept that because that professor was knowingly labeled as terror.
**THE MAJESTY FORGOT TO BRING HER CLASS PERMIT DURING THE EXAMINATION DAY (COLLEGE DAYS)** (Bagsak naba this?) The destiny had never stopped toying with her even in her college days and she is nearly getting used to it, hmm let’s see. The Final Examination has come; and the Queen was struggling due to sleepless nights of studying, because of that she forgot to bring her “CLASS PERMIT”, which is her only way to enter the class, but here comes the bad luck using the opportunity to make her lose her cool and be ultimately in distress. She had no choice but to stay outside while watching her classmates doing their best in answering their exams, and what’s even worst, she could not go home to get her class permit due to the reason that she need to travel for half an hour to get to school and then she had only 15 minutes to prepare before the exam starts. Furthermore, that day most of her major subjects were scheduled. (Sadyang minamalas ka nga naman). This time she reevaluated herself, she took a deep breath which signifies that she is so done dealing with adversities, she kept on finding solutions instead of doing nothing, and finally she overcome it and finally took her test exams, thanks to her considerate and kind professor. Closing Thought, We human beings should not be driven and depend in luck. Let us all be mindful that all the things that we intend to do will produce a variety of consequences which either bad or good, in short we are the master of our fate. *LIVE BY FAITH AND YOU’LL RECEIVE BLESSING, LIVE BY LUCK AND YOU’LL RECEIVE NOTHING.* Oh before I forgot, That QUEEN OF MISFORTUNE is no other than “ME” 😅 Love, @Athaliah All images are from unsplash.com

That's right. We must not depend on luck because it's never an assurance that it can help us always. But being a ball's favorite spot hurts. Sana hindi na ngayon 😁

If we only look at the misfortunes, then we will can all brand ourselves as kings and queens :D Good for you for having the resolve to find a way out of a situation. We should be resourceful when faced with problems and how to solve them. Regarding bad luck, count your blessings instead :D
