Noche Buena Update The time that we've been waiting for has come! Finally, it's Christmas! Hehe, I know we all have our different activities, events, and food trips. In this season, a lot of Filipinos are partaking this Noche Buena holiday. Some are going back to their respective families and or doing vacation where they could celebrate Christmas the merrier! Anyways this article of mine is about flexing our viands and special dish cooked for our salo-salo. Salo-salo means, to eat together either formal way or in a cowboy way of eating. It doesn't matter at all, as long as you enjoyed eating. Well, here are the lists of our all time favorite dishes for tonight's Noche Buena.

Sizzling Pork barbeque No need to explain this food because a lot of us are cooking this too right? Hehe, by the way, this is our famous dish on every occasion. After roasting, it's up to you if you're going to put it with cucumber and cane vinegar. It's delicious when it's spicy too.

Lechon manok/ Roasted chicken Well, this dish is the best for me. I love to eat roasted chicken, especially when it is being paired with atchara. Atchara is a pickle made from grated unripe papaya and is popular in the Philippines. This dish is often served as a side dish for fried or grilled foods such as pork barbecue. It tastes so good and fantastic!

Chicken soup/Tinola The taste and aroma of this viand is mouthwatering it would definitely destroy your scorched rice even if it's hard to chew but this boiling chicken soup will make it soft. Well, we are not going to remove this cauldron from the fire to keep it hot. Just bring your bowl there and fill it with delicious chicken soup. So yummy.

Macaroni This desert should not be out of the list. Macaroni is a common dessert for Filipinos, but without this, your dinner is dull and incomplete, for the reason that a lot of people love to eat this delightful dessert. They will always ask you, "bro do you have a macaroni salad?" haha. That is how my friends and relatives are. But, it's okay! Sharing is caring, and the more you share the more you bless. There you have it! I and blessed that despite some circumstances, we're still able to prepare and cook something for this Christmas. Closing Thoughts Not all people are having a joyous Christmas, some are facing problems, some are losing loved ones, and others don't have a house to gather with. I want to express my sincere sympathy to those unfortunate people who experienced such sorrowful and distressing dilemmas. And I am praying that one day, they'll overcome these trials in life. Strengthen yourselves and don't lose hope. Merry Christmas everyone! I'm so hungry already. I haven't took my lunch because I am making my stomach empty and ready for tonights menu lol.
