It is well known saying that people are judged by the way they are dressed. Dress code is the indicator of a person's personality. There are opposing arguments for the above topic but according to me, dress serves to add serenity and grace to any ordinary person and it is the inappropriate dress, that makes an extra ordinary person to appear as an ordinary person.
Firstly, the dress code, a person wears becomes a part of his mature personality and he is always identified by the same pattern of dressing. Without adequate dressing, a man is just a mass of flesh. It is the virtue of clothes which makes him appear in a particular manner.
Secondly, people dress up for the occasion and to be more appropriate and suitable according to given event. For instance, a person would like to wear formal party dresses when going to a party. For office, he will go for formal suiting to enhance his personality according to his job position. On the other hand, the same person will be found wearing casual trousers or shorts at the times when he will be stretching at home doing nothing as formal business. Some people are heightened slave of fashion that they always dress to kill and keep up with the latest fashion. Dress also makes a person able to carry pride in his appearance.
However, some people think the opposite and according to them, dress is just a part of their personality not their whole personality. Merely, dressing can never be a full fledge substitute for a man to cover all of his flaws. A person is much more than the dress he wears; his education level, moral values, ethics and code of conduct are of more weightage when we come to analyse and evaluate an individual. A man who is well dressed but is nothing in terms of beauty of his heart and lacks feelings of empathy and is not indulgent by nature cannot be more attractive than a generous man wearing ordinary clothes.
In conclusion, clothes are crucial in indicating and assessing a person's personality but other factors when included result in more fulfilling personality. So, a person while selecting dress to add attraction to his personality should keep in mind to work on other attributes as well that make him a better individual as a whole.
