Tomato belongs to the Solanaceae family and it is also called nightshade family. Its Botanical name is Solanum lycopersicum. Tomato is the world second Largest crop after Potato. Tomato is a warm season crop it require 20 to 30 degrees temperature for its normal growth. Tomato doesn't fruit sets if the night temperature falls below 15 degrees and day temperature crossing 35 degrees.
