CoinFlex, a cryptocurrency exchange has started the voting process on the restructuring and if you are one of the CoinFlex users then you are eligible for voting. CoinFlex is using Snapshot.org, a third-party platform independent of COinFlex. It is important to use the independent platform for voting purposes as CoinFlex is going to use this voting in the court. In this article, we will see the step-by-step voting process and how you can vote on a snapshot.

Step 1: CFV Tokens

The first step for the voting is to get your CFV tokens at your metamask or any other off-exchange wallet that you are going to use for further process. CFV is the 'CoinFlex Voting Token' which will be used to cast your vote and also allow you to participate in the community discussions. These CFV tokens will be in your CoinFlex wallet, so just login into your COinFlex wallet and check for CFV tokens.

Step 2: Withdraw CFV Tokens

Once you locate your CFV tokens, withdraw them to the off-exchange wallet, which will be your metamask wallet. Make sure you are withdrawing your CFV tokens on the correct wallet that you are supposed to use in the further process because these tokens are single-time transferable tokens, which means once you transfer CFV tokens to your metamask they won't be available to transfer again.

Step 3: Commonwealth Registration

After successfully withdrawing your CFV tokens, go to the 'Commonwealth', which is a community discussion platform, here you can find all the legal details and ongoing stuff related to CoinFlex and also have discussions with other community members. Sign Up to the Commonwealth platform using the same metamask wallet that are holding CFV tokens.

Step 4: Access Information

Here on the Commonwealth platform you can put your opinions and have discussions with other members, every comment will cost some amount of CFV tokens, around 0.05 CFV. On the sidebar, you'll see the various things including Corporate action where you can get all the updated information regarding the process.

Step 5: Go to Snapshot

On the sidebar, you can also see (Governance ->) 'Snapshot', click on it and select 'Restructuring Proposal' under the 'Active Proposals' heading. On selecting 'Restructuring Proposal' you will see the following screen. On the right side, you will see the strategies link, click on it.

Step 6: Final Vote!

After that, you will on the voting page. You can select between 'Yes' or 'No' and can also share your power between these two options. Select your voting option and choose the voting power and click on vote. A metamask notification will pop up and will ask for the sign, sign that transaction and your vote will be captured.

That's the process of voting for accessing information regarding the CoinFlex Restructuring process. There is a direct way to cast your vote through Snapshot but I will recommend you to go with the above method because there you will be a part of the community and will get to know the latest and updated information regarding the process. In case you got stuck while accessing Snapshot via Commonwealth, use the link below to vote.

Voting will be closed on the 27th of September at 4 PM UTC, so make sure you vote before that. And to stay updated with the process, check the commonwealth platform timely as CoinFelx will be updating official details and documents.

Maybe, maybe not! Things get very complicated when things go to court. Following are few cases- 1) Best case we get shares of CF and can get better prices (if CF becomes profitable) 2) we might not get anything at all 3) we might get something but better than current valuation 4) we might get something but worse than current

I might have placed everything but that's the truth, nothing is clear at the moment!

Do we really have to participate in voting? What if I don't participate? I got lazy following the steps 😂 I have 125 CFV..

Haha no worries! There isn't any downside if you're not voting unless your preference is losing 😅

Btw most probably the restructuring is going to happen as over 85% of votes are in yes favour.
