Celsius Network has recently published a document where users can check how much Celsius Network owes us and it will be considered at the time of distribution. In this article, we will look at how to check through the document and what to do if there is a difference between the actual amount and the showing amount in the document.

Step 1: Locate/Download the Document

The announcement came from the Celsians which is an unaffiliated community. You can find their tweet regarding this and can also follow them for future updates.

You can download the document using the link below, click on it and a pdf will open, it will show something like shown below. If possible use a laptop or personal computer to access the document as it will be much easier to search through the document of thousands of pages than searching on a mobile phone.

Step 2: Go By the Initial Of Your First Name

Now on the same document go to page 92 where you will see the initials, select one which is yours, click on it and you will be redirected to another document.

Step 3: Find Your Name And Check Your Assets!

Now if you click on the initial you will be directed to the pdf where you can check all the details related to your assets. In this document, the name of the creditor, and the addresses of the creditor if its business but the addresses of individual creditors are redacted, and the asset details from various accounts like Earn account, custody account, and the collateral on loan.

Here instead of searching manually use the search option, if the software you are using does not have a search option, then click 'Clrl + F' and search for your name, you will get the search results and then you can check your assets. This is how you can check how much Celsius Network owes you.

If you think all of your assets are properly recognised in the document then there is NO NEED to file a claim.

General Queries

Here is the list of general queries which might clear your doubts, if you have any query other than this or anything you can comment down.

1) What if your name is a common name?

Since the document consists of thousands of people, it is possible that there will be many people with the same name. There is nothing you can distinguish based on but if you check and match one of the assets from Celsius App and the document, you might be able to find your account as it is very less probable to have the same assets to the decimal levels.

2) Why my balance is different than what is shown on the app?

The assets shown in the document are taken from the 13th of July and some accounts are eligible to get the rewards from the 8th-13th of July, that amount is added to your assets shown in the document but it has not been updated in the app, so it might be possible you will see a little larger amount shown in the document than what it is on the app.

3) What if my assets are less compared to what I hold?

If you think the assets shown in the document are not proper or less than what your think then you can file the claim on stretto but make sure you are only filing this claim if you are sure.

4) How to file a claim and what's the deadline to file a claim?

Currently, there is no deadline to file the claim but keep following the updates regarding this as you won't miss the deadline if there is any set by the court afterward.
