A New Week Is Here, Do You Have It All Figured Out

Many disturbing thoughts about rounding up the weekend and getting ready for a new week can make one feel uncomfortable. It is one thing we can never skip no matter how we try to. Do you have it all figured out, what are your plans for the new week. Don't forget, every start of a new week is expected to place you a bit higher than your former position, meaning that it creates room for more improvement and corrections.

This is my first post here, and in this post I will try my possible best to outline the few things we can do to kickstart the new week on a positive ground.

Back then in highschool, we were taught about the '5 P's', Proper Preparation Prevent Poor Performance. Before one could think of starting a new week, a proper preparation should be put in place.

PLAN - This is one thing most people fail to do, and some do it at the wrong time. Planning your week on a Monday morning is very wrong and inappropriate. Set out a good time on Saturday evening and plan your week. Jotting down some things on a note book is not a bad idea, this is to remind you of what you need to do during the week. Set your clothes aside, make sure everything you will need at the office is well packed inside your bag. Make a food plan for the week. Doing this will save you some of the stress of the new week.

UTILIZE EVERY FREE TIME - One of the things that may possibly contribute to having a great week is making use of every free moment we have. Read a good book especially one that focuses on your career, listen to life changing podcasts.

KNOW WHAT YOU WANT - One of the things to consider before kick-starting a new week is knowing what you want. What are those things that are most important to you? If you don't have full knowledge of what you want for the week, it's already clear that you are having an unsuccessful week.

YOUR PLAN SHOULD BE FLEXIBLE - There are situations that are sometimes inevitable. So creating room for a change of plan is a perfect idea.

DON'T FORGET YOUR DREAMS - Above all, your dreams and aspirations is what keeps you going. Don't give yourself a chance to forget them. Every day as you wake up from sleep, remind yourself that you won't give up on those dreams, have this belief that a time will come when you will look back at where you came from and where you are now and smile..
