US President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Joe Byben have been embroiled in a tussle over Portland violence in Oregon.
President Trump has blamed Democratic Mayor of Portland Ted Wheeler for allowing "death and destruction" in his hometown.
However, Mr. Biden says "reckless incitement to violence" Trump.
One person was shot dead when pro-Trump protesters clashed with Black Lives Matter activists on Saturday.
Portland has become one of the main centers of protest against police brutality and racism since the death of African-American George Fluid in a police shooting. The assassination of George Fluid on the 25th in Minneapolis sparked widespread protests at home and abroad.
After extensive writing on social media, Mayor Wheeler warned against coming to the city to hold a counter rally.
"For those of you who are writing on Twitter this morning that you will come to Portland for revenge, I urge you to stay away," he wrote.
Reacting to Donald Trump's criticism, he said, "It is the US president who is creating hatred and division."
next us president will be the trump..
