Just go away
He will continue to walk away and abandon your heart, he will continue to break promises, he will continue to make you doubt yourself. You feel worthless, you feel as if you’re not good enough for this world. He will continue to say that no other man will ever love you, he will negatively comment on the parts of you that you feel insecure about. You will feel isolated from the world, no one messages you anymore, you started of with a big friendship group and now you have no one. The happy, bubbly part of you has vanished and she is no where to be seen.
Your parents are worried about you, they can see that you have changed. You feel nothing, you feel numb. At this point walking away isn’t an option, he told you that no other man will ever love you. His words repeat within your mind, you’ve gained weight, you no longer bother with yourself, who would want someone like you. You’ll never be good enough, eventually you snap.
You walk away, and the moment you leave you feel a weight slowly release itself of off your chest. You cry, you fear the following days however you get through it. As the days pass your heart slowly heals, as the months pass you regain your confidence and eventually you find that the part of you that had been missing for so long slowly starts to reappear again. You still have your down days, the days where you will feel as if you’re not enough. Some days you’ll feel as if you’re reliving the abuse all over again, however you pull through it. A year passes and you find yourself smiling at your own reflection in the mirror, you find yourself dancing away to your favourite song, you find yourself full of happiness.
The parts of you that had been lost for years finally reveal themselves, you feel the happiness flood throughout your veins. The you that you had been searching for has finally come back, and this version of you is so beautiful.
