Gazi Group Chittagong took their second consecutive victory in the tournament by
defeating Jamcon Khulna by a huge margin of 9 wickets in the fifth match of Bangabandhu
T20 Cup with Mustafiz's bowling cannon.✌️
Gazi Group Chittagong captain Mohammad Mithun decided to bowl first after winning the
toss in the first match of the day at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
Enamul Haque Vijay and Shakib Al Hasan Hasan came to inaugurate the innings for Jamcon Khulna
after receiving an invitation to bat from Gazi Group Chittagong captain. Enamul Haque Vijay
was run out in the first over due to misunderstanding between Shakib and Vijay. Imrul Kayes,
who had opened in the previous two matches, came to the crease after the victory. Shakib-Imrul
tried to build a partnership with a cold head, but Nahidul did not allow their partnership to grow long!
Nahidul was the first to send Shakib Al Hasan to the dressing room with only 3 runs.
Jamcon Khulna captain Mahmudullah Riyad came to the crease after Shakib! Mahmudullah Riyad,
the captain of Jamcon Khulna, returned to the pavilion after becoming the second victim of Nahidul Islam
to add 1 run to his name at the crease.
Jahrul Islam Ami came to the crease after Riyadh! Imrul and Ami were trying to take the team forward in a

Imrul Kayes who was playing with a cold head. Imrul Kayes Sagar returned to the pavilion after being
the second victim of Taizul Islam for 21 runs.
Shamim Hussain came to the crease after Imrul! Mustafizur Rahman sent Shamim Hussain,
who was playing aggressively,
to the dressing room. Shamim Hussain became the first victim of Mustafizur Rahman and returned
with a personal 11 runs. Shahidul Islam came to the crease after Shamim! Shahidul got run out due
to misunderstanding with Ariful Haque and went back! Shahidul Islam returned with 5 individual runs.
Rishad Hussain came to the crease after Shahidul Islam! After coming to the crease, Rishad Hussain
became the second victim of Mustafizur Rahman with a personal zero run and went back to the pavilion!
Hasan Mahmud came to the crease after Rishad! Mustafizur Rahman did not allow Ariful Haque to lengthen
his innings. Ariful Haque went back to the pavilion as the third victim of Mustafizur Rahman for 15 runs.
Al-Amin Hussain came to the crease after Ariful! Al-Amin Hussain returned to the pavilion as the fourth
victim of Mustafizur Rahman with his second ball. Al-Amin Hussein returned with a personal zero.
In the end, Jamcon Khulna was able to collect only 6 runs after losing all the wickets in 18.5 overs.
Imrul Kayes scored 21 (28), Ariful Haque 15 (30) and Shamim Hussain 11 (7) for Jamcon Khulna.
Mustafizur Rahman took 4 wickets, Nahidul Islam and Taizul Islam took 2 wickets each for Gazi Group Chittagong.
Liton Das and Soumya Sarkar came to inaugurate the innings of Gazi Group Chittagong with just 7 runs to win.
Like the last match, in this match too, Liton-Soumya formed a partnership of fifty runs! Mahmudullah Riyad
returned to the pavilion with a personal 25 runs to stay just 14 runs away from victory. In the opening match,
Liton and Soumya scored 63 runs in the opening match.
