The outline of Bangkok at sunset is a stunning view. Thailand's capital is truly a modern Asian city with different kinds of dining and nightlife options, but, thankfully, its more traditional charms - like golden Buddhist temples, long canals, night markets and a colourful street life are all still evident.
Looking down at the green fields of Lumphini Park, cornered by tall buildings on most sides, you can think that Bangkok somewhat resembles Manhattan, just disregard the smog you'll encounter as you picture it's skyline.
Do not be fooled. Beneath the smog and chaos, Bangkok is full of exciting things to do and wondrous places to see and experience. From street side restaurants with plastic chairs and road-side stalls selling exotic food to top notch. High end restaurants and the world’s hippest and trendiest rooftop bars.
Aside from admiring the view of the Bangkok skyline, there are a lot of things Bangkok has to offer as the sun goes down. Its not all action, though, there are a kit of amazing cultural shows and experiences to be had especially at night. Nighlife can never be boring if you are in Bangkok. But choosing where to go and what to do can be a hard task to do when there are a million things to do and when everything seems tempting. Unfortunately, the night is short so make sure that you'll enjoy the rest of the night away.
