they have been dating for a year and they quite loved each other. he was ready to do all she wanted and she was ready to love him till the end
he was quite rich and she was a graduate and will not settle for less. she had pride but it wasn't the man's business as long as she never treated him bad for once.

on this faithful day which happened to be her birthday, she invited alot of her friends and told them about her boyfriend and how he had been spoiling her with money and gift. her friends were so eager to see this guy so they saw the birthday as an opportunity since he will be there
the party started and alot of people came with gifts, she just collected them and dropped aside and waited to receive the one from her guy. everyone were also interested as some guessed it could be an engagement ring.
the young man walked in with a loaf of bread wrapped in a polythene bag and gave it to her. she opened the nylon and saw the bread. she was so dissapointed and started displaying the true person she was. she abused , cursed and even pour the glass of wine she was holding on him
the guy begged her to please accept it from her heart since she claimed she loved him. she landed him a dirty slap and asked him to leave immediately. the man picked the bread from the ground where she had dropped it and opened it and behold there was a Ferrari car key in it and an engagement ring.
everyone at the party opened their mouth in amazement as the lady knelt down to apologise. the man left as he then understand that the love she had for him was money driven.
she had failed the test and the day which was suppose to be a very special day to her became a sad day she lived to ever remember
