Virtues of Ayatollah Kursi!
God Almighty has revealed the Holy Qur'an as a guide and a way of life for mankind. Ayatollah Kursi is the 255th verse of the second Surah Al-Baqarah of this precious book. This verse has 10 sentences. In each of which the power of God has been described. By reciting Ayatollah Kursi, many welfares of the human race are achieved and various dangers are avoided.
Ayatollah Kursi has many virtues.
One day the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked Obai Ibn Ka'b (R) which is the most virtuous and important verse? Obai Ibn Ka'b (R) pleaded that it was Ayatollah Kursi. The Prophet (peace be upon him) supported it and said, O Abul Manzar! Thank you for this good knowledge.

Narrated from Ubayy bin Ka'b,
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: By Allaah! Whoever has a tongue and two lips of Ayatollah Kursi in his hand will continue to praise Allah at the feet of the Throne.

Ayatollah Kursi's Bengali meaning:
God, there is no god but He. Who is the Ever-Living, the Eternal. No drowsiness or sleep can catch him. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. Who can intercede with Him except by His command? He knows everything in front of them and behind them. They have nothing to gain from His ocean of knowledge, except what He wills. His chair encompasses the whole sky and the earth. And the care of them does not make him tired at all. He is supreme and great.
Virtues of Ayatollah Kursi:
Narrated from Abu Umama (R), he said:
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Whoever recites the Ayatollah Kursi at the end of every obligatory prayer, nothing will prevent him from entering Paradise except death.

Hazrat Ali (R) said, I heard the Prophet (PBUH) say that a person who regularly recites Ayatollah Kursi after every obligatory prayer, only death is an obstacle to enter Paradise. Whoever recites this verse while lying in bed, Allah will keep peace in his house, in the neighbour's house and in all the surrounding houses.

An angel is on guard to guard him until morning when he recites at bedtime. So that the devil may not come near him.

Narrated Abu Hurairah:
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: There is a great verse in Surah al-Baqarah, from which the Shaytaan will be recited.

Abu Huraira (R) said,
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said,
There is a verse in Surah Al-Baqarah which is the leader of all other verses of the Qur'an. Satan came out of the room where the verse was recited.

There is another saying in the Muslim society about Ayatollah Kursi, that if Ayatollah Kursi is read out before going anywhere, one can be saved from danger.
