[24: 1] An Noor

Surah An-Nazrun (The Messengers) We have sent down Our Signs, and We have sent down in them Signs in the Signs, so that you may be mindful.

Bayan Foundation:

This is a surah which We have sent down and we have observed it. And We have sent down in it clear signs that you may take heed.

(Tafsir)

[1] All the surahs of the Qur'an have been revealed by Allah. But what is special about this Surah is that the rules and regulations discussed in this Surah are of special importance.

[24: 2] An Noor

Al-Zani is one of them, but it is not the same as yours.

Bayan Foundation:

And the adulteress and the adulteress shall be whipped one hundred times. And if you believe in Allah and the Last Day, then let not mercy be on you for the religion of Allah. And let a party of the believers see their punishment.

(Tafsir)

[1] Early punishment for adultery; What was temporarily prescribed in Islam is discussed in verse 4:15 of Surah An-Nisa '. It said that all adulterous women should be kept in the house until a permanent punishment is prescribed in this regard. But when this verse of Surah Noor was revealed, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, 'Learn from me the everlasting punishment for adulterous men and women as Allaah has promised. That is, one hundred lashes for unmarried men and women and one hundred lashes and stones for married men and women. ' (Sahih Muslim, Penal Code Chapter) Then in reality he punished the married (adulterers) by stoning them, and annihilated them by combining one hundred lashes (which is a small punishment) with a big punishment. Therefore, the only punishment for adultery between a married man and a woman is stoning to death. After the era of the Prophet (peace be upon him) the same punishment was given in the era of Kholafa Rashedin i.e. Sahaba. Subsequent jurists and ulama agreed on this point and still do. Only the Khawarij community denies this punishment of stoning. There are some people in the Indian subcontinent today who refuse to accept the punishment. The main reason for this denial is to deny the hadith. This is because the punishment of stoning is proved by a saheeh and powerful hadeeth, and the number of narrators of those hadeeths is so great that the ulama have considered them to be 'mutawatir' (narrative-rich) hadeeths. Needless to say, those who acknowledge the authenticity of the hadith and its being a source of Shari'ah cannot deny the provision of that punishment. [2] This means that, out of compassion, do not refrain from enforcing the provision of punishment. But being naturally compassionate is not contrary to faith. Kindness is human nature. [3] So that the education of the people, which is the real purpose of punishment, becomes widespread. (Seeing the punishment, others may take advice and be afraid to take such action.) In the cycle of destiny, public punishment is being promoted as anti-human rights. It is utter foolishness, rebellion against the command of Allah and according to their idea they want to be more benevolent and benevolent to the people than the Creator Allah. But there is no one more merciful and compassionate than Allah in the real proposal.

If you make a mistake, you will be forgiven...
