4 Unhealthy Spending Habits That Should Be Avoided
Money is very essential to us as humans and it is an important commodity that everyone wishes to have in abundance. The reason most people do two or more jobs everyday is to make enough money to meet their needs. The issue with money is that it is not easy to get, one have to work for it. Those who engage in illegal activities also take lots of risk before acquiring wealth.
As difficult as it is to get money, some unhealthy spending habit can consume it quickly. You must be careful on how to spend money so that it will be enough.
There are things you should consider before deciding to spend your money so that you won't end up paying up debts every time you receive your salary.
The four (4) unhealthy spending habit are;
1. Lack of budget - when purpose is not known, abuse will be inevitable. Make a list of how you want to spend your money every time in order not to overspend. This will prevent you from buying things you don't need thereby running into debt. Do not spend your money without having a plan.
2. Inability to save - when you don't keep a certain amount of money for future use, your money will not be enough. No matter the amount you make every month, try to save some amount. You will have something to fall back on in the nearest future.
3. Borrowing - it is not a good idea to borrow money, especially when it is not for something that will yield profit in the future. Borrowing money is an unhealthy habit which can lead to paying of debt continually every time. It can also make a person poor.
4. Gambling- this is a spending habit that should be avoided at all cost. Winning from gambling the first time will be easy but after that, it may not be possible again. It can make an individual spend all his life savings which can result to poverty.
These unhealthy spending habits should be avoided as much as possible.
