If there is one thing that the pandemic has taught us, that would be the importance of a strong body and mind. The pandemic has slowed down a lot of business establishments because of health protocols – one being gyms.

Some people treat the gym as their go-to place if they want to let off some steam and while some would just go there daily for their health. Because of what’s happening, their usual routines have been halted.  As a result, they now rely on home workouts with the help of videos and mobile applications that provide brief workout sessions and diet plans suitable for each user’s body.

According to a recent poll conducted by OnePoll, 75% of people believed that it’s easier to stay fit within the comfort of your own home. Since the pandemic began, a lot of people are more interested in doing home exercises rather than going to the gyms and exposing themselves to the virus. Home equipment is a lot cheaper than enrolling yourself in a gym. With just a pair of dumbbells, exercise mat, and band, everyone can reach their body goals for that summer bod photos. On top of that, people can also protect themselves against the virus by boosting their immune systems by sticking to a healthy diet and regular exercise routine.

Zoom classes and workout videos are in demand now because people can’t go out and it’s easier to build a home gym by ordering equipment online. Luckily, there is a mobile app called REBEL that makes living a healthy lifestyle more accessible.

It was launched in September 2020 and the concept was an idea from the three founders: Erwan Heussaff, Nico Bolzico, and Giles Hage. Rebel offers a wide range of exercise and diet plan that are suitable for all body types.

With over 200 videos featuring yoga, muscle toning, dance, martial arts to bodyweight, and HIIT workouts, users can always explore and try new ways to train. There is also another section in the app which is called EAT, where you can find recipes that are tailored for Filipino taste buds. The ingredients are easier to find, which means that users can easily follow the recipe and create their meal plans.

The last section of the app is called CARE which helps the user clear their minds by meditating.

Now with the help of the REBEL app, achieving a healthier lifestyle amidst the pandemic has been made easy!
