On this very day 24 years ago, dear country had made a new history in the Islamic world. Pakistan had fully demonstrated its nuclear power by responding to the Indian nuclear blasts.

• On May 28, 1998, Pakistan responded to India’s atomic bombings by detonating bombs in the Chaghi area of ​​Balochistan.

• After the atomic bombings, Pakistan had the honor of becoming the first nuclear power in the Muslim world and the seventh in the world and this day is remembered as “Yom Takbir”.

• After acquiring nuclear capability, Pakistan also built and successfully tested several missiles capable of carrying nuclear weapons.

• Pakistan and India first conducted nuclear weapons tests in 1998 at intervals of 3, 3 weeks. According to Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, Pakistan’s nuclear scientists had acquired the capability to make an atomic bomb in 1984.

• When India conducted nuclear tests in May 1998, there was no option for Pakistan to conduct nuclear tests and thus Pakistan joined the ranks of nuclear powers.
