Hard to believe that Juventus's problem was not the then sacked Maurizio Sarri but Cristiano Ronaldo
The above clausal concept might be hard to believe but in the actual sense, it's the bitter truth.
Signing Ronaldo is Juventus's problem... They were better off him, their performances in Uefa Champions League was better before the advent of Ronaldo. They signed him only to forget themselves and leaving him to perform miracles alone. Juventus are now overdepedent on him which is unfair to both Juventus and Cristiano himself.
Juventus have forgetten completely how to play football the moment they signed him. This was a team that had played 2 finals in 3 years before Ronaldo.
Juve was great before he came, players were playing for one another as a team. When CR7 came everything changed. Every player has to play for Ronaldo and in his own turn, he would be looking for television goals, firing from different impossible angles in situations where he should have played with his teammates; and as such, he absorbes pressures on himself trying to justify his superstar status.
Winning the league was a normal tradition for the Old Ladies, He was signed to help win the UCL for the team but now ordinary Coppa Italia, they can't even win anymore and in fact, this season, Juventus had their worst season in many years. In fact, Juventus have regressed since CR7 came on board. Good players like Dybala, Bernadeschi, Douglas Costa among others started being benched just to accommodate him and everyone started praising him as if he could win UCL on his own.
People were like Juve have bought CR7 to win UCL which they think he would attain immediately. Football is a team Sport
Now some will say Juve do not have the quality, but just like I said earlier, they were a top team before Ronaldo and had played 2 finals in 3 years.
Many were of the opinion that Ronaldo was the only one doing it for Real Madrid, why not progress with Juventus? Even if you are god of football, you need quality teammates to explore and do great things. Ronaldo played with better players in his days at Madrid where there was a mutual understanding of one another's style of playing on the pitch.
Although, just like I would say Ronaldo deserves better from his teammates at Juventus, I would also say he should try to play with his teammates and not wasting opportunities in the game of finding amazing individual goals....
