While I am honored that some of you reached out to me, as FB arbitrarily and capriciously sent me to jail for a couple of weeks, it is a reminder that, on this space, with or without me (you, too), life goes on. Only God is indispensable/irreplaceable.

Truly, I have been here for weeks, enjoying and reading all your updates, excluding those groupthink posts that insanely denied the objectively proven reports about these two important events — the Lekki Massacre and the defeat of President Donald Trump — but, due to the restrictions on my account, I could not react to, or/and comment on, your updates.

Make no mistake, however imperfect your struggle was, it provoked badly needed discussions about the future of our country, Nigeria (you do not need me to tell you this, but I will): Nigeria is gradually falling into an abyss. We will talk about that later.

Speaking of what I have been up to, I enjoyed my little vacation (I deliberately did not create another FB account, for I wanted to use my time to reflect on different pursuits that I am working on).

A lot of things have happened in my life: I celebrate the wins. Since I am still constantly taking affirmative steps, those life-changing pursuits, which did not materialize, will lead to future wins. You can call me an eternal optimist.

Life is a journey, right, and the journey is not always a smooth one?

One thing is abundantly clear, though: as an emancipated adult, I am solely responsible for my own actions. When I painfully fall behind my expectations, I won’t give up: I think of those successful pursuits, which I concurrently initiated, to validate my capabilities. You should do the same, too.

Do NOT allow anyone to validate, or/and undermine, your capabilities.
