In today’s world, it will be difficult to go through life without being affected by anyone or any sort of experience. Life is full of influences, and you get to choose which ones you want to use for good or bad. In addition to positive influences, there are also negative influences. The effect you get from the power is determined by how you react to it. Several people influenced me to get for who I am today.
First and foremost is my family. They are the most influential people that I know in my life. They are the ones who’s been with me since I was a kid and as I grow up, they taught me values, how to take care of myself, and things that help me to build a foundation on how to be a good person particularly how to blend in with the society. As time passes by, I am slowly starting to notice and realize that they have a toxic mindset on things that they want me to apply into my own life, which by the way, I didn’t. Instead, I took that as a stepping stone to break the toxic cycle in my family and to improve myself as a person. I converted it into positive things and be open-minded in a lot of things.
Second is Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi is a very inspirational role model who not only reacted to violence without violence but overcame it and (for the most part) succeeded in life without violence. He was a victim of bullying and segregation and looked past the odds and was inspirational for many people. He inspired me with his philosophies in life. The quote that stuck to me ever since was “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” This helped me to see the beauty in life and never stop learning things.
Lastly is Amanda Rach Lee. Amanda Rach Lee is a Content creator, Vlogger, Art enthusiast, and Bullet Journalist.
