Well yes, I'm stealing the quote from the Hulk and I hope not to make him angry 😂 but this brawl saw the presence of a new monster: the massive, and apparently extremely angry, Gorth!
With +5 attack and +12 life, which go, respectively, to +6 and +13 with Tarsa on the field as Summoner, I have another giant monster to throw at my opponents ... and after the result of the previous brawl I was looking for my revenge!
Considering that the new Riftwatchers mini-expansion will focus on huge and expensive creatures, it seems that playing 99 mana games will become more and more interesting and compelling: better be prepared for the Attack on Titan in the Splinterverse!
And moving on to the fights, the EDSF Guild still fails to redeem itself, finding itself fighting in the rear with ferocity but without succeeding in snatching a good placement.
As I repeat every time, however, the prize in merits is always so rich that it repays every effort made to obtain it, so we do not give up, waiting for the our moment to shine!
Looking at the results of the Guild's players, we find a ferocious arctic wolf ( me, to be clearer 😂) thirsty for revenge, taking home 6 victories and 3 defeats; you can find just a little below how they went: who will be this time the MVP? Will be again the usual Quora Towershead ? Or this time we have a new contestant to the throne?
In second place, on equal footing, we find @ivanslait and @giuatt07 , with 5 wins and 4 defeats each, both very close to the first place!
As usual, I played nine games and I fought in the Novice level fray with Chaos Legion cards.
1° defeat - Flagulon Reine is one of the first legendary Gladius cards that I had to face... and I can clearly see why it's so rare: with the blast ability dropping fire and death on my creatures, it only took a couple of turns for my opponent to get rid of me.
1° win - Quora Towershead is on the battlefield... yet the victory this time belong to Grund , with his double strike and +5 attack thanks to enrage , dealing +10 damage per turn!
2° win - if Quora Towershead doesn't bring home at least one victory, she isn't happy... and here she destroyed, basically by herself, the 4 creatures deployed by my opponent.
2° defeat - my Portal Spinner , thanks to the scattershot ability, knocks out the opposing Gladius card... but not fast enough, and the poor Captain Katie hadn't enough health left to stand against the enemies.
3° win - mindful of the bad result obtained in the last brawl in a similar scenario, this time I chose to go full brute-force mode... and the music changed! Gorth reached +12 attack, +19 life and +8 speed... Gorth SMASH!
4° win - another creature recently found and another victory: the beefy Palidon Rakk proved that in the Nature element Quora is not the only one to be feared!
5° win - almost identical team to that one of the first victory and same result: this shows to me how useful it is to rent certain cards before a brawl, like Queen Mycelia and Spirit Hoarder .
6° win - opponent perfectly countered: no losses suffered and a flawless victory.
3° defeat - once again I was unable to use Relenor Cleaver in the right way, while my opponent took full advantage of Edith Emberstar , turning the tide of the last battle in his favor.
We are at the end of another report, but the adventures of the EDSF Guild continue: we will see in the next report what the next series of battles will have in store and, with a bit of luck, there will be a new Gladius pack to open!

Ebbene sì, sto rubando la citazione ad Hulk e spero non me ne voglia 😂 ma questa brawl ha visto l'arrivo di una nuova creatura: il massiccio, ed apparentemente,estremamente arrabbiato, Gorth!
Con +5 di attacco e +12 di vita, che vanno, rispettivamente, a +6 e +13 con Tarsa in campo come Evocatore, ho a disposizione un altro mostro gigante da lanciare contro i miei avversari... e dopo l'ultima brawl non aspettavo altro!
Considerato poi che la nuova mini-espansione Riftwatchers si focalizzerà su creature enormi e costose, sembra che giocare le partite a 99 mana diventerà sempre più interessante ed avvincente: meglio prepararsi all'Attacco dei Giganti in versione Splinterverse!
E passando alla parte dei combattimenti, quella dove ci si scassa di botte con gli avversari (questa parte in inglese ovviamente salterà 😂 non voglio arrischiarmi in traduzioni dal significato fantasioso e dubbio), la Gilda EDSF non riesce ancora a riscattarsi, trovandosi a lottare nelle retrovie con ferocia ma senza riuscire, infine, a strappare un buon piazzamento.
Come ripeto ogni volta, però, il premio in merits è sempre talmente corposo che già così ripaga di ogni sforzo fatto per ottenerlo, per cui noi certo non ci abbattiamo e continuiamo a darci dentro in attesa che arrivi il nostro momento!
Guardando, invece, ai risultati dei singoli membri, troviamo un feroce lupo artico (io, per intendersi 😂) assetato di vendetta che si porta a casa 6 vittorie e 3 sconfitte, di cui poco sotto trovate la relativa descrizione: sarà stato di nuovo merito della solita Quora Towershead oppure stavolta abbiamo un altro MVP?
Al secondo posto invece, a pari merito, si piazzano @ivanslait e @giuatt07 , con 5 vittorie e 4 sconfitte a testa, entrambi quindi ad un soffio del primo posto!
Come di consueto, le partite da me disputate sono state nove ed ho combattuto nella fray di livello Novizio con carte Chaos Legion.
1° sconfitta - Flagulon Reine è una delle primissime leggendarie Gladius che mi trovo a dover affrontare... e non posso che constatare come la rarità sia pienamente meritata: con l'abilità blast che fa piovere fuoco e morte sulle mie creature, bastano un paio di turni al mio avversario per sbarazzarsi di me.
1° vittoria - Quora Towershead è in campo... eppure la vittoria non è merito suo, ma di Grund, che con il suo doppio attacco, portato a ben +5 da enrage, rovescia sul campo la bellezza di +10 danni a turno! Mostruoso.
2° vittoria - se Quora Towershead non si porta a casa almeno una vittoria non è contenta... ed eccola qua a tritare, praticamente da sola, le 4 creature schierate dal mio avversario.
2° sconfitta - il mio Portal Spinner, grazie all'abilità scattershot, mette fuori gioco la carta Gladius avversaria... ma non abbastanza in fretta, e la povera Captain Katie resta con troppa poca vita per potersi opporre al nemico.
3° vittoria - memore del pessimo risultato ottenuto nella scorsa brawl in uno scenario simile, stavolta punto tutto sulla forza bruta... e la musica cambia! Gorth, in particolare, arriva a +12 di attacco, +19 di vita e +8 di velocità... Gorth distrugge!
4° vittoria - altra creatura trovata da poco ed altra vittoria: il nerboruto Palidon Rakk dimostra che nell'elemento Natura Quora non è la sola a dover essere temuta!
5° vittoria - formazione quasi identica a quella della prima vittoria e stesso risultato: questo mi conferma di quanto sia utile rentare certe carte della natura, come Queen Mycelia e Spirit Hoarder.
6° vittoria - avversario counterato in maniera impeccabile: nessuna perdita subita e vittoria da manuale.
3° sconfitta - ancora una volta non riesco ad utilizzare nel modo giusto Relenor Cleaver, mentre il mio avversario sfrutta a pieno Edith Emberstar, facendo volgere a suo favore le sorti dell'ultima battaglia.
Siamo alla fine di un altro report, ma le avventure della Gilda EDSF proseguono: vedremo nel prossimo resoconto cosa ci avrà riservato la prossima serie di battaglie e, con un pizzico di fortuna, ci sarà anche una nuova bustina Gladius da aprire!
