Recent flood in Bangladesh

Every year various nature disasters hit in Bangladesh. Flood in one of them. Every year flood occures in Bangladesh. it is one of the greatest natural calamities in Bangladesh. the causes of are many. the melting snow on the mountain cause flood. Bangladesh is a low - laying country. besides Bangladesh is a reverine country. there are a lot of revers,canals, beels and haors in Bangladesh. most of the rever are shallow owing to silt. they cannot hold enough water in the rainy season. Now,this is a main cause of floods in Bangladesh. Sometime, heavy rainfall is also the cause of flood.the most devastating floods occurred in Bangladesh in the years of 1954,1955,1960,1970,1974,1988,1990,1994,and 1998. but the flood of 1998 broke of off all the records of the past. then almost the whole country went under flood water.almost 54 district were severly affected by the alarming flood. it broke all the past records of havoc and losses.it damaged a lot of properties, lives,trees,hous, school, College and animals. the people of whole country dis not get enough pure drinking water, foods and medicine. The government Bangladesh, all king of NGO's and political parties came forward to help the flood affected people.besides our soldier, policement and BDR took part in the relief work.our government should take suggestion of the foreign experts how to control the lessen the loss of property.
