NASA experts reported five asteroids approaching Earth this week, with two of them closer than the Moon. Three of them approached on Wednesday, December 16. They will range in size from 10 to 24 meters in diameter. The closest of them will be at a distance of 343 thousand kilometers from the Earth.
Another two asteroids with a diameter of 6.8 meters and 30 meters will approach Earth on December 18. The smaller of them will pass at a distance of 57.1 thousand kilometers, and the larger will be almost seven million kilometers from Earth.
