Repair your corrupted micro SD card with a razor blade

SD card, also known as memory card, is a tiny, portable device with an extended capacity widely used as storage in multiple devices, such as digital cameras, Android phones, tablets, video game consoles, and some other electronic instruments

When SD cards are removed frequently without safe ejection, they could encounter problems, which might lead to file system corruption

Apart from the improper handling of the SD card, other commonly factors could stop the SD card from working smoothly. Such factors as, a virus infection, data transfer interruption, SD card removal while writing files to it, etc.

Unfortunately, when memory card gets corrupted, many believe it can't be fixed but to get a new one. This could be painful since we've saved many files on them.

The good news is that a defected SD can be fixed. Below are steps to fix your corrupted SD card;

Materials needed : The corrupted SD card, a sharp razor blade and a clean cotton

Steps to take in repairing the corrupted micro SD card

1 Hold the corrupted micro SD card with one hand and the razor in the other

2. Clean the contact pins of the SD card by scratching the pins lightly with a razor blade

3. After cleaning the contact pins carefully with a razor blade, take the cotton and clean the pins

4. Repeat step 2, by cleaning the contact pins again thoroughly with the razor blade and wipe it off with the cotton

5. Fix the cleaned micro SD card into the phone and it will be good for use again
