Triple doubles is one of the greatest stats in basketball that one player could ever achieve and do while playing in his career which this list of NBA players who had a triple double game in their career leads by Oscar Robertson who had 181 career triple doubles. But did you know that there has been 10 times a two player who is teammates has recorded a triple double in the same game? And this article of mine I will share to you the 10 triple doubles in the history of the NBA made by teammates on the same game.

1: OSCAR ROBERTSON AND BUCKY BUCKHORN

It was 1962 when the first time in the history happens a teammates scored a triple in the same game and it was done by the Mr. Triple Double it self Oscar Robertson together with his teammate Bucky Buckhorn of the Cincinnati Royals when they beat the Philadelphia Warriors on a score of 151-133. Where in that game Oscar 28 points, 14 rebounds and 16 assists, while Buckhorn tallied 19 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists.

2: RAY SCOTT AND DONNIE BUTCHER

The second time this amazing feat happen was on 1964 when Ray Scott scored 23 points, 20 rebounds and 11 assists while Donnie Butcher scored 19 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assist of the Detroit Pistons as they beat the New York Knicks 126-124.

3: ART HARRIS AND LENNY WILKINS

It was 1969 the third time again it happens when the Seattle Super Sonics beat the San Diego Rockets 125-112 leading the Sonics to win is Lenny Wilkens who scored 36 points, 14 rebounds and 14 dimes with his partner Art Harris who also had a triple double of 14 points, 10 boards and with 10 assists.

4: MAGIC JOHNSON AND KARREM ABDUL JABBAR

The 4th of this record happens after 13 years when in 1982 Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Magic Johnson ended the drought of this feat when Magic tallied 26 points, 16 rebounds and 10 dimes while is another Legend teammate Kareem Abdul Jabbar had in a more unique way in the list when he recorded 19 points, 10 rebounds and a whopping 10 blocks as the Showtime Lakers beat the Bad Boys Pistons led by Isiah Thomas 123-111.

5: LARRY BIRD AND ROBERT PARISH

The 5th time this amazing feat recorded was made by another hall of fame duo of Larry Bird and Robert Parish on 1987 when their Celtics had an 18 point victory the Philadelphia 76ers of Doctor J Julius Erving. Larry Legend lead the Celtics with his 17 point, 13 rebounds and 12 assist performance backed up by the Chief Robert Parish who tallied 14 points, 10 assist and also had 10 rebounds.

6: MICHAEL JORDAN AND SCOTTIE PIPPEN

The Goat of NBA his airness Michael Jordan also joins this elite squad of players on having a triple double alongside his best buddy Scottie Pippen, when on 1989 MJ and his Bulls defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in overtime with 5 points. With Jordan leads all scorers with 41 points along with his 16 rebounds and 10 dimes, while Pippen 15 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assist. On that game Jordan had also 6 steals which is only 4 steals shy of having a quadruple double.

7: JASON KIDD AND VINCE CARTER

It's been a long 18 years since the record was done again by a teammate and it was on 2007 when Jason Kidd and Vince Carter ended the drought as they escaped an 120-114 overtime win against the Washington Wizards. Carter put up big numbers of points of 46 points with 16 rebounds and 10 assists. While my favorite point guard of the game All time Jason Kidd supported Carter with 10 points, 16 rebounds and 18 assists for the New Jersey Nets.

8: LEBRON JAMES AND LONZO BALL

King James also joins the list when on his first year with the Lakers blow out the Charlotte Hornets. As James totalled 24 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists while Lonzo Ball helped him to be on the list when Ball scored 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists last 2018.

9: JIMMY BUTLER AND BAM ADEBAYO

The Miami Heat duo of Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler who helped the team reach this year's NBA Finals and just came two games short of winning the Title had also entered this list of dynamic duo when Bam leads the way for the Heat with 30 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assist. While the ever hardworking Butler as they beat the Atlanta Hawks 135-121 on December of last year.

10: JA MORANT AND JONAS VALANCINUNAS

It was still fresh when the 10th and last installment of this great list happens which was held in the NBA Bubble when this year's Rookie of the Year Award winner Morant tallied 12 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists while his teammate Valanciunas had a monster game when he tallied 29 points, 16 boards and 12 assist that ends the list and be sure to be adding this list next season because of some exciting players continue to rise their games such as Luka Doncic.
